Usually you do register, and it is before ISTE, but there is no charge.

EduBloggerCon the day before (as Mitch said)...no paid sessions...not a full schedule of sessions...spend much time in Bloggers Cafe

JanWells: many of the workshops are excellent, and of course you are guaranteed a seat when you register for them in advance.

sadly, Discovery's Pre-Con has been the same time as edubloggercon the last few years.

I have enjoyed 1/2 and full day workshops in the past. After a while, it's hard to find something new in regular breakouts.

dmantz7 you should tell Steve Dembo that if he doesn't come to Podstock, you'll have to go to edubloggercon

Last year I attended my first wksp, it was Kevin Honeycutt so definitely worth it.

mweisburgh: Only if that would truly intimidate him. Although, he has expressed to me how he would like to be at Podstock but it is

also around the time of the DEN National Institute week long camp.

Make sure to catch poster sessions too! I've found some excellent ideas and resources there.
