if he needs company.
takes a seat beside him at one of the pubs. She could use company, too. She smiles at him. "What do you drink?" Though she had a feeling-
-that his answer was obvious.
casts a weary glance over at her when she sits, glad that he will not be alone in his...drinking raid. He returns the smile with a lop-sided
one. "I should think you already know the answer."
winks at him before she orders two shots of vodka. To start. She slides one over to him. "Is there a reason for this?"
closes his eyes for a moment, her happy spirit not as offending as he had originally thought it would be. "Not...particularly."
nods. She takes her shot in her hand, downing it quickly. She wasn't used to hard liquor. But, vodka was kind of good. "Hm. -
- Anything on your mind?"
grabs his own shot, throwing it back without mercy. The familiar burn of his favor drink down his throat was inviting, and he gestures for
another. He throws a veiled look at her. "Must I be troubled to drink?"
shakes her head. "No. I was simply curious. Is there anything new with you, then, if that's a better question." :3
A tilt takes to his lips, and he stares at the ring that his shot-glass left on the counter. "Insomnia."
glances at him. "I'm sorry. I wish I could help you sleep." Insomnia was never good. "Do you think you're worried about something and that's
-what's preventing you from sleeping?"
shrugs, bringing another shot of vodka up to his mouth and down his throat. "There is nothing anyone can do," he mutters, eyes closing. "I
do not think so. I have worried about much too many a things; why would it decide to manifest now, hm?"
shrugs. "Dunno." She ordered herself a cocktail before turning to look at him again. "It could be something else this time.-
- Or maybe it's age. Or perhaps it's just something that can't be explained. Regardless, I wish there was something I could do to help."
smiles at him a bit before taking her cocktail and idly sipping from it. "I suppose I'm just far too optimistic that way."
