UGH! Have to go for an unemployment hearing today. The company I worked for when I was diagnosed said I quit. I was out during surgery
and treatment, and thought I would be going back to the job, when I got clearance from my doc!
Ugh, that does suck. I hope it's a quick and straight forward resolution and that they're not assholes!
What sucks is they're saying on the paperwork that V quit 3/11/11 - the very day she was diagnosed; a Saturday to boot.
She was in the hospital all day and her job was a long way from her mind
Ugh, good luck with that, V. 
Dismissed...employer never showed. They can still ask for another appeal, and give a reason why they didn't show today.
