Brandon, I used to teach industrial arts/technology ed. Am still licensed to teach it but I teach special ed now.

I am so frustrated with the direction education is going, that I am thinking of getting out. Not sure yet.

Don't get me wrong. I love to teach. I love to teach ind/art. But the way things are heading, no one seems to care about ind/art.

We don't have Industrial Arts anymore. The position had gone from full-time to 3 periods. The last guy was awful. Too bad - kids need it.

our industrial arts teacher is retiring this year - many kids love his class and I'm hoping they replace him
