well, I used to be able to see which had more than 300 bumps, which had 150-300, 75-150, etc and so forth
oops our software has to have CAPS... I didn't yell a nod... heheh
are you yelling noddles at me now Sir? Well FINE!!!!!!!
Andreas. allllll about the moosic. maybe that's why 3 days gone from T61 and I actually LOST 1000 points.
I think I wouldn't mind so much if I didn't keep running into Humantree. WTF? O.o
that's wrong, you still get the separation, just not on "recently added"...which is obvious, as the bump count is hidden for 24 hours
and yepp - no more point separation on recently uploaded, just another way to keep the punters in the dark
that's a great thing, less bumping because everyone else does (many people just do so, sorry)
hmmm, yes it does have that good side. So it all depends whether you're a mob person or a selective listener, how you see the change.
looks like it, yes, and if it levels the distances between popular and more experimental artists a bit I'll gladly take the change
hmm, good point <thinking mode>
I think we're currently fooling the system by maxing out on successful tunes and perhaps only bumping a great but experimental tune once...
...as it is costly in point investment and doesn't payoff...but we're basically telling the system one song is e.g. 15 times better than...
yeah, I think I'm a little of both.
If I really dig a song I support it no matter the pay off,
but if I know a song is going to have high pay off, even if it's not my style,
I'll bump that too, unless I really reallly just do NOT like it.
but if the payoff wouldn't be as high with the new system you wouldn't have to bump for profit anymore, as you don't need to earn investment
ok I see your point. So no more selling my soul for the sake of the system.
hmm, good points, what about getting more points just to be higher status? which is now pointless i guess??
more soul back in 61 would be good
Linda and Julian have nice souls.
aww
I admit, earning points is less interesting, although you can obviously still climb the leaderboards and level up
but you can also blow your hearts on underbumped music you wouldn't have maxbumped if it would have cost ya 1000 points
so this way high level users still have power to put a song straight on top of the activity page
i think the angst is generally over not having the rationale for changes explained, and sudden changes with no warning etc, even tho some
being treated like mushrooms does not make for happy users
I know, you're so right...I mean, we know a lot because we discuss the changes, but the average users have no information at all about it

yah i read that the other day, good work, thanks.
I appeared to lose some rep today max bumping the Bark Cat Bark song... hard to tell if it was one of the old bloated points caused by
switching pages during bump return or an actuall loss from bumping costly song or even from maxbumping... perhaps a new penalty....
Anyway, I don't dislike the changes and am still waiting to see how they play out. I do like that you can now easily see if you've bumped
a song without hovering over it or looking at the bumpers.
Hiya Greg, I lost a bit too temporarily but I'm pretty sure it was old songs being deleted, and enamsea deleting one from last week
heyas,
unclefesta! yeah, I dunno. not enough to care about. just a little weird since I hadn't seen that much with the new system...
