pulls his phone out of his pocket when it vibrates, quickly skimming through the text and heading in that direction.

throws a stick for Baldwin to retrieve while she waits.

eventually comes across the spot where she fell, immediantly bending down to pick her up. "There you are, Cricket! What on earth

happened? I was worried sick!"

"I was jogging after Baldwin... and I tripped on a tree root. It's rather simple actually." She scratches Baldwin behind the ears.

looks slightly relieved, letting out a quiet sigh as he carries her back towards the house. He whistles quietly, hoping Baldwin will follow

on his own. "I see...well, I'll have a look at that when we get home, then."

nods. "Alright. The sooner we are home, the better."

makes it home and into the house in record time, setting Wy down on the counter and going to get the first-aid kit. "How long has it been

since you and Baldwin last ate something, Cricket?"

considers that for a moment. "Well, we had a snack on the trail... but I wouldn't say no to a real meal."

grabs a roll of cloth bandages and a small vial filled with cherry-red liquid, going back into the kitchen. "I'm sure I can throw something

together, then. Now, where did you hurt yourself?"

points to her ankle. "I didn't do it... it was that blasted tree root."

tightly wraps the area with the cloth, tying it in place and handing her the vial. "You probably won't want to do any sort of running for a

while...it should be fine, though. But drink this, just in case-it should null the pain, at least."

takes a swig out of the vial and then makes a face. "Right... who's going to walk Baldwin?"

goes over to the cupboards, digging around for the proper ingredients to make stew. "Don't worry-I'll take care of it."

"Thanks!" She grins. Despite what everyone else seems to think of England's cooking, she sees no problem with it.
