sitting outside on the porch steps. She takes another drag of her cigarette, exhaling slowly.
glances up at him, smiling a little. "Happy New Year, broer."
stands up, taking a last drag of her cigarette before tossing it aside, exhaling. "Are those for me?"
smiles, hugging him close. "Dank u. They're beautiful." :3
pulls away before holding her hands out for it. "I'll go put them inside." She gestures to the cooler on the steps. "Help yourself."
- "Probably with his brother. Or maybe with Alfred." She sighs softly as she walked inside to go put the tulips in a vase.
- "I wasn't invited." She comes back to the porch, grabbing a beer for herself before lighting another cigarette.
doesn't know to be honest. She settles down on the steps, taking drag from her cigarette before taking long drink of beer. "Sit." She-
-pats the spot beside her.
nods, exhaling before offering her cigarette to him.
takes it back, flicking the ashes away. "So, how's your new year going?"
- "Mine isn't so bad." She glances at him, smiling lazily.
smiles. "I'm buzzed enough not to give a damn, I suppose. Want one?"
- "Mmh. Sometime around 4pm.." She took a last drag from her second cigarette before tossing the filter away, exhaling before taking a drink

- "You have a lot of catching up to do, broer."
... doesn't know what he means. She finishes off her beer, tossing her can in a waste basket she had.
- "Hand me another, please."
holds the can of beer in her hands, sighing softly. "I feel like crap. I don't know why."
shakes her head.
groans. "Hell, I don't even know anymore."
glances at the pipe before reaching out to take it. She took a few long puffs of it before passing it back.
- "It's very smooth." She finally opens her can of beer, taking a slow drink from it.
she giggles softly. "Thanks." She turned to look at him, her eyes lazily hooded. "What are your plans for the new year?"
- "That's it? No plans at all?"
smiles."Sounds like a good plan, then."
- "You never know what could happen.."
takes the pipe, sighing softly. "Nothing so far."
scoffs softly before taking a long drag. "More than you would care to admit, broer."
shrugs, handing the pipe back to him. "We're a lot alike."
sips her beer.

just staring out into the distance.
thanks him for the compliment.
doesn't notice. She finishes off her beer before moving to grab another.
nods. "I guess. What else can I do?"
she sighed and lit another cigarette, pouting a bit. "Holidays are crap."
- "Now I know." She whispered.
looks up at him. "Where are you going...?"
blinks. She takes a long drag from the pipe, exhaling before setting it down and getting up on wobbly feet towards him.
moves to lay down beside him. It was cold.
- "Where?"
- "Why not?" She stares up at the sky.
just watches the sky before she closes her eyes.
- "Better.." She said softly. "Calm."
rolls her eyes a little. Great choice of words.
just lays there.
- "Feels that way."
- "He's not here."
hums, slowly opening her eyes.
turns her head to look at him. "I love you. You know that, right?"
- "So you're not alone."
- "No~"
- "Because~ I'm always here."

turns onto her side in order to look at him properly. "Why not?"
- "Why?"
furrows her eyebrows a little. "M'here.."
- "What more do you need?" She whispers, feeling a little selfish.
- "Don't you love me..?" She knew he did, but.. She was selfish. Completely selfish.
rolls onto her back again, staring at the sky.
sighs, closing her eyes. "I'm sorry."
- "It's not. I'm the selfish one."
bites her lip. "I just am."
- "Because.. I want to have your attention. But I want Lovi, too. And I'm just.. the most selfish person ever."
- "Half the time you were an ass about it, though." She mumbled, a pout in her tone.
- "I want it."
- "Why?"
makes a soft whining sound.
- "Please don't.."
- "Nikolaas..."
- "Please.." She whispers, unable to speak any louder.
- "It'll hurt more if you hide from me."
drapes an arm over his face, taking a shuddering breath.

trying not to cry. She's always super emotional when she drinks.
sniffles, clinging to him and hiding her face against his chest. "I'm so stupid.."
- "I am."
sniffs. "I-I don't know. I just am..."
- "You're not.. Shut up."
- "I'm sorry that I g-gave up..."
just snuggles against him.
- "Just please don't run away from me.."
- "Promise me."
- "Promise." She growls softly.
- "Say it."
relaxes, but only a little. "Thank you."

- "Come with me.."
- "Why not..?"
- "Does it matter?" She whispered.
- "Then come with me.."
stands up, stumbling a little but she clung to his arm to keep herself upright.
goes to curl up on the couch with another beer.
sips from her beer, leaning against his side.
takes it, sniffling a bit before taking a long drag, exhaling slowly.
nods. "Mhm.."

a lot more relaxed. The weed was sneaking up on her.
drinks from her beer. "How's your New Years, now?"
nods. "Good, good.."

blinks at him. "Which bit?"

shakes her head. "M'fine."
- "Thank you.." she sniffs a bit, taking deep drags from the pipe.
- "He said he would make it." She mumbled under her breath, smoke leaving her lips as she spoke. "We didn't even do a thing on Christmas-
-either. So I figured I would surprise him this time around. So I just.. wore this stupid thing under my clothes but no! Where's Lovi?-
- I don't know." She tossed her empty can of beer aside, glaring at it a little.
doesn't react at all. She's too busy sulking. "I want... I want to.. " She paused, thinking long and hard, but nothing came. "I don't know."
takes another drag from the pipe, keeping the smoke in for a while before exhaling again. "I know.."
- "Ja, ja.." She sniffed again, looking up at him lazily. "But i don't know what to say.."
nods. She didn't remember him being this close to her a few minutes ago.
leans against him. "What's wrong with me..?"
scoffs. "Emotional distress is making me want to do things that are very much frowned upon."
nods.
- "It's.. warm in here." She murmurs.
nods. "Yeah.. but it was fine earlier.."
- "Please?" She fans her face a little. It was... burning in here.
pulls off her coat, letting it drop to the floor along with her boots.

almost finished with the pipe.
doesn't feel special right now. She just feels like crap.

too warm for him to be holding her this close. She takes a final drag from the pipe before handing it back to him.
exhales slowly, closing her eyes.
- "I don't know... just stay with me."
smiles, glad for that much. She leans up to kiss his cheek. "Thank you... really."

- "No.." She says softly.
- "I think it's just the beer..."
could just loose some layers. She carefully wriggled out of her pants, letting them fall to the ground before she took another can.
doesn't really care. She opens the can and sips it slowly. "What now?"

glances at him. "You heard me."
knows it's wrong as well, but.. She can't bring herself to care right now. She kisses him back.

trails her fingers lightly down the side of his neck, tugging at his bottom lip with her teeth, if only to distract him from his thoughts.
pulls back after a few minutes, though keeping their lips only inches apart. "M'sorry."
sighs. "Nikolaas.. I'm sorry." She lightly pushes him down onto his back, curling up against his chest and hugging him tight.
presses their foreheads together once more. "Ik hou van je." She echoes before kissing him.

meets his eyes, her expression falling for only an instant before she leaned down to kiss him once more to silence him.
