Call for help!
My Windows XP (Home edition) does not load properly when my EHD (External Hard Drive) is plugged in.

It reaches the point just before I need to enter my password to log in and stays there.

After a few hours of trial and error, I found out that Windows will start if I disconnected my EHD.

Any clue as to what happened how to fix it or how to avoid it in the future?
