ten drinks later and he stumbled out to his car, fishing for his car keys. He was mumbling about Berwald and how much of an ass he was as he
vaguely felt his 'Tino-is-doing-something-stupid' senses tingling, but he tried to shrug it off and went out for a walk while sipping on_
a travel mug of rather potent glög. The tingling warmth of the hot alcohol served well to fight off the chilly air.
took a few tries to actually get his car started, he turned the heater up full blast, he just wanted to get home and curl up and forget that
pouted as he reached the bottom of his mug, He shook it a bit, as though magically more would appear. Unfortunately, it didn't work... He_
sighed, shivering a bit as he looked around. His eyes settled on a small bar and quickly shuffled towards it. He would stop in for a drink,_
just to warm up before walking back towards Soren's. As much as he had enjoyed spending time with his family, he had needed some air.
turned on the radio, turning it up a bit as he waited for the car to warm up. He hadn't put his seat belt on yet and he probably wouldn't.
The things always annoyed him anyway.
hummed happily to himself as he neared the bar, practically skipping through the parking lot.
didn't even notice him as he finally put his car in reverse and started to back out. He didn't bother to check his mirrors though.
failed to notice the car as he hummed to himself and fantasized about a more idealistic past that hadn't actually happened. In it everything
nice, Soren wasn't immature, and Tino didn't get angry with him all of the time.
kept backing up, he was still pretty annoyed about everything but it was more because he missed Berwald... sort of.
torn from his day dreaming when the fender of one of the cars hit his calves. Luckily it wasn't going fast enough to cause serious damage,_
though it gave him quite a fright and caused him to slip on a patch of ice with a loud groan as he hit the ground.
frowned a bit when he felt his car hit something. He put it in park, though it took a few tries before he stumbled out of the car to make
sure he hadn't hit another car.
winced as he tried sat up straight; he rubbed his left hand, having unintentionally put his weight on to it when he had fallen._
Unfortunately, the fall had been a bit rougher than anticipated, and twisted it in to an uncomfortable position. Even the buzz from his_
earlier drinks couldn't distract from the discomfort. That was what he got for drinking in Denmark.
frowned when he saw who it was, he leaned a bit against his car. "Su-san? Wha' the hell are you doin' there?"
frowned at the familiar voice. He should have known it would be Tino... Idly he continued to rub his wrist before using his uninjured_
hand to help push himself in to a standing position. "Was takin' a rest." He stated sarcastically.
stared at him before he quickly lost interest. He still wanted to get him so he could curl up in bed and possibly not leave said bed for a
few days. "Fine..." he went back to get into his car, fumbling with the handle.
frowned as he watched Tino fumble with the handle. "Y're drunk..." He frowned, that explained why he had backed in to him.
glanced over at him as he finally got the door open. "I hadn' noticed."
furrowed his brows together. "Y' can't drive like this." It was hardly safe for anyone.
glared a bit as he got back into his car. "Sure I can." He really just wanted to get home and forget about Berwald.
walked to the driver side and held open the door so that Tino couldn't shut it. "It's not safe." It was one thing when Tino was irrational_
and violent towards him, but that wasn't endangering his, or anyone else's, life.
frowned as he tried to shove him away. "Go back to pretending I don't exist."
scowled at him and reached in to the car to take the keys. "Never pretended y' didn't exist..." He just ignored him.
grabbed for his keys before he could take them. "You did," he really didn't want to argue with him right now. "Just let me go home."
scowled, not moving. "No."
shoved at him again. "You've already won, so just leave me alone."
had no idea what he was talking about, he hadn't won anything. Unless a swollen wrist was some kind of prize these days. "Get out'f the car_
Tino." He said firmly, holding on to the frame of the door to secure himself from being pushed away.
shakes his head, cursing at him in Finnish. "Leave me alone."
"Y're drunk." He grumbled firmly, grabbing Tino's wrists to tug him out. "'S not safe."
glared a bit him as his wrists were grabbed. "I don't care and you shouldn't either. You made that much clear."
"I do." He rolled his eyes, continuing to pull him out. It was almost cute when Tino got stubborn and grumpy.
tried to pull away so he could remain in the driver's seat. "Why?!"
would have grabbed Tino from the waist were the car not small and awkwardly shaped. He grumbled in frustration. "Why wouldn't I?" He had_
thought that not wanting someone to drive while drunk was a fairly normal thing, especially when it was someone you were close to.
didn't think they were close anymore. He pushed at him again, wanting him to let go. "Last I checked you hated me."
felt like he was dealing with a small child, and the bar was beginning to look more enticing. "Never hated y'." He scoffed, debating_
inwardly whether it would just be better to give up. He wasn't very good at giving anything up, but he had already been hit by a car that_
night, and he wasn't sure how many more blows he could handle.
frowned, he was slowly getting tired of this as he stopped pushing at him. "You're mad at me though."
shakes his head a bit, "you're such a dumb ass..." he pushed one last time before giving up.
slipped backwards on the slick ground, his grasp not quite as firm as it had been before. He winced visibly as he grasped at the car with_
his left hand, pain shooting up his arm as it twisted again. He tried to mask it quickly and sighed. He didn't have the energy or the desire
to fight tonight, and his good mood from earlier had disappeared almost entirely now and all he wanted to do was mope in solitude.
noticed that and instantly felt bad... he moved to get out of the car, taking his hand as he caught him, or tried to. "Dumb ass."
looked at him with a scowl as he stood up straight, quickly shoving both of his hands in to his pocket. "It's illegal t' drive drunk, an' _
y' could kill someone." He grumbled, turning away, he wasn't going to get sentimental over it, since he doubted that Tino would care,_
particularly after fighting him so much.
frowned at that, he watched him turn away. He was suddenly pissed that he was so quick to turn away. "I'm sorry..."
glanced at him briefly before opting to stare at the sky. "Me too..." He wasn't entirely sure what Tino was apologizing for though, to be_
stood next to his car before he looked away from him, wrapping his arms around himself. "I miss you..."
wasn't sure how to respond, and looked at Tino with a mixture of surprise and curiosity. "Y' do?"
nods a bit, he didn't say anything for a few moments. He looked up at him as he shivered a bit, it was cold out here... "Sorry I hit you as
"I've had worse." He shrugged. That didn't make it any more comfortable, but he'd dealt with more painful things than getting hit by a slow_
car. "... 'M sorry f'r fightin' with you..." This was as deep as his apology was getting, and he felt silly enough with it.
nods a bit as he stayed where he was for a moment, "can I... come over to your place tonight?"
nodded with a small smile, relieved that they were no longer fighting, at least he assumed they weren't. He felt safer about Tino going_
to his house than driving all of the way back to his.
smiles a bit at that, "thanks... no more fighting then?"
nodded again. "Ja." They could stay at his small cottage outside of Malmo since it was close by. He usually stayed there after drinking_
stepped away from his car a bit before he remembered to grab the keys. He shut the driver door and nodded a bit again. "I do miss you..."
nodded, feeling extremely relieved that Tino wasn't going to try driving. "Missed you, too."
still wanted to drive but he figured Berwald wouldn't like that... "can we get another drink?"
glad he was willing to accept that. "Sure." He agreed; a drink would be nice, his nose felt numb and his cheeks were already taking on a_
nodded a bit before he started toward the bar, he fully intended to wrap Berwald's wrist later on.
followed quietly behind him. He would wrap the wrist himself if it still hurt later, but he figured it was something he could walk off.
went inside and found his previous seat. He sat down and ordered two glasses of eggnog with rum.
peeled off his scarf and jacket before sitting down. He wasn't much of a rum drinker, but he wouldn't complain.
took off his own coat and glanced over at him before he leaned over and hesitantly rested his head on his shoulder.
glanced down and slowly, almost hesitantly, patted his head. Had they been in the privacy of the own home he may have wrapped an arm around_
him, or even dared to kiss his cheek or forehead, but the sparsely populated bar had too many people for him to comfortably do so.
sighed a bit at that, when they got their drinks he sipped at his before he finished it quickly. He decided to stay quiet for now.
shifted uncomfortably as he looked around at all of the people. He grabbed his drink and swirled the liquid around in the glass before_
holding it out to clink it against Tino's. "T' not fightin' on Christmas."
nods a bit as he managed to do the toast before he had finished his drink. "Yeah..." he smiled slightly as he sat, he didn't want to
extremely easy to embarrass in public... He finished his drink in a couple of large 'sips' and looked back around. "Eh... y' wanna go now?"_
He paused and shifted again. "I've got s'me alc'hol 't home if y' want..."
brightens a bit at that and nodded, "sure. Lead the way Su-san."
figured that would be enough to lure the Finn out of a bar. He nodded, hoping he didn't mind the short travel it took to get there.
got up from his seat, it took him a moment to catch his balance. He put his coat back on and waited for him.
reached out to make sure Tino didn't fall before he stood up and pulled on his own jacket, glancing out the window to see if the weather was
waited for him and paid for the drinks before he headed out side, pulling his coat close around himself.
thanked him quietly and waited until the door shut before putting his arm around Tino's shoulder, leading him to the train station.
leaned into him a bit more for the support than anything as he let him lead.
didn't mind being leaned on at all, and found himself pulling Tino a bit closer unconsciously. He purposely walked slower so that Tino would
not slip or fall; or so that he wouldn't slip or fall, but he assured himself it was more for Tino's regard than his own.
didn't mind being pulled closer. He hummed a bit to himself as they walked. "I should do something special for you... for Christmas."
shook his head. "Y' don't have to." He was happy enough that they were on speaking terms again.
nods a bit, "I want to." He moved into him a bit more. "How much further?"
pointed to the train station near by.
looked over at it and nodded. "Ah."
rubbed Tino's shoulder lightly with his thumb as they reached the station, then moved away, pulling his arm back to pay for their tickets.
let him pull away. He waited quietly, sort of straying off as something caught his attention.
turned around once he had the tickets, narrowing his eyes to try and focus on where Tino was. He hated how dark it got in the winter.
completely distracted by a small cat that was sitting in the snow.
squinted until he spotted a familiar blob in the snow. He sighed quietly and approached him. "Train leaves 'n ten min'tes."
looked up at him a bit startled. "Ah kay," he picked the cat up and held onto it, it wasn't wearing a collar. "Look."
reached out to pet the cat. It was cute... though it probably had an owner, and he doubted they were allowed cats on the train...
gave the cat a few pats before he set it down. "We should go wait shouldn't we?"
watched the cat run off before he looked up at Berwald. "Let's go then."
debated whether or not he should wrap his arm around Tino again... but settled for keeping his arms stiffly at his sides.
frowned a bit at that, he shoved his own hands in his pockets before he walked over to the train platform.
sighed as he made his way to their seats. He took off his jacket and folded it on to his lap.
sat next to him, leaving his own jacket on.
waited a few seconds before reaching over to grab Tino's hand.
looked over at him questioningly before he leaned over and kissed him on the cheek.
gave a small smile and tightened his grasp on his hand slightly, thankful that the train didn't have many people on it.
held his hand in return as he leaned against him lightly.
glanced around briefly before leaning down and kissing Tino's forehead.
blinked a bit at that and smiled faintly. He glanced out the window, wondering how long the train ride was.
didn't think it should take too long, only half an hour or so...
looked over at him again, he rested his head on his shoulder lightly. "Hana is going to need to get out tomorrow..."
nodded slowly, they could go visit her in the morning after they had woken/sobered up.
would very much like to do that. He closed his eyes a bit as he thought about something. "Su-san, you really don't want to do it do you?"
looked at Tino, more than a little bit confused at what he was asking. "Do what?"
shrugged a bit as he looked up at him, "what most couples do." He smiled a bit and shook his head as he leaned into him. "Ah never mind."
had no idea what most couples did these days. Go to dinner? Watch movies? Go to the theater? "Eh?"
shook his head again as he held onto his hand still. "We should go on a date or something... at some point." He nodded a bit.
"'Kay." He agreed, he wouldn't mind going on a date with Tino at some point.
nods a bit, he closed his eyes and leaned into him.
let go of his hand and wrapped his arm around his shoulders with a sigh.
happy they weren't fighting anymore... though he was still going to hold the fact that he'd forgotten his birthday over him... even if he
wasn't going to say anything about it.
may have gotten him extra Christmas gifts to make up for it...
didn't really expect that as he leaned in close to him.
would give him the presents the next time they saw one another, or if they stopped at his house before Tino went back to Finland.
didn't think he had to do that.
wanted to... it would be a waste to keep them in his closet...
wanted to do something else for him then.
didn't think that was necessary.
wouldn't stop him from doing anything, though he didn't want him to feel obligated to do anything.
didn't feel obligated at all.
would happily accept anything that Tino had to give, in that case.
would accept anything from Tino.
wanted to get off the train now. He looked to the window, hoping their stop was soon.
rubbed his thumb in circles in Tino's arm as he glanced out the window. He felt relieved to be back in Sweden, though it would be a couple_
more minutes before they reached the station and were allowed off.
smiled a bit at the small amount of contact as he closed his eyes again and leaned into him. He was warm and comfortable.
felt guilty that the warmth would soon end, and sighed as the train came to a stop. "C'mon."
looked up at him and blinked a bit before he nodded and got up.
squeezed his shoulder affectionately before leading him towards the terminal. He was relieved that they were almost to his vacation home.
followed him contently, wanting to stay close to him. He wrapped an arm around his waist as they walked.
smiled slightly, reaching his arm back around Tino. He was thankful that it wouldn't take too long to get home, and he quickened his pace.
walked with him, looking forward to being alone with Berwald.
walked faster when he saw the familiar street where the house was. He pulled Tino along, impatient to get out of the cold.
hurried along with him, waking up more with the cold.
smiled at Tino and kissed his forehead as he pulled back and dug through his pockets for keys. He hoped he still had the right key on his_
let him look for the key as he tucked his hands into his pockets.
patted Tino's head before shuffling towards the door with the key in hand. He hadn't been to the house in a few months, and hoped it wasn't_
too stuffy. He pushed open the door and quickly pulled off his shoes as he waited for Tino to come inside.
followed him inside, pulling his own shoes and coat off. "It's nice."
nodded as his hand fumbled along the wall for a light switch. He sighed quietly with relief when the power flipped on in the hall. It wasn't
a large house, just a small two bedroom cottage, but it was comfortable, and nice for the holidays.
looked around a bit, he thought it was just fine. He moved into the home a bit more before he looked over at him and smiled.
gave him a small smile back and quickly shut the door, locking it behind them. "I'll start a fire... Are y' hungry?"
shook his head as he stood, "nope..."
nodded and turned on a lamp in the small living room. There was no TV in there, but there was a stack of chopped wood by the fireplace, and_
a comfortable couch on the opposite side of the room.
moved to take a seat on the couch, pulling his feet up under himself.
made the fire as patiently as he could, knowing that rushing it wouldn't help any... though he wished it would hurry up!
watched him quietly before he got up and moved over to him, wrapping his arms around his shoulders.
looked over his shoulder, surprised at the movement. He smiled slightly as he fanned the small flames to help them grow.
watched him fan the flames, he rested his head on shoulder and kissed the side of his neck lightly.
smiled and sat up straighter once the fire was sufficiently prepared. "Want somethin' t' drink?"
hummed a bit and shrugged as he kissed his neck again lightly. "Only if you want."
craned his neck a bit as he took in a slow breath. He was mostly sober, though he suspected that it would probably be better for both of_
them if he had a few drinks, as they usually made him more talkative and affectionate. He nodded, though he was reluctant to actually move.
pulled back a bit and let him get up if he wanted. "Drinks might be nice though." He nodded.
agreed and stood up, though he had been enjoying the kisses on his neck. "Wh'd'y' want?" He asked as he began making his way to the kitchen.
sat back on the ground as he watched him, "what ever you're having is fine."
nodded and rummaged through the kitchen. He didn't have much beyond non-perishables. He grabbed a bottle of vodka from the freezer and a_
couple cans of soda before walking back to the room. He stood idly in the door for a few seconds. "There's a tv in th' bedroom if y' wanted_
t' watch somethin'..." That was about the closest to entertainment he could think of.
looked over at him as he thought about it and shrugged, "I was think I could entertain you actually... if you'd like..."
"Ah," he nodded, setting the bottle and cans on the table. He wasn't sure what Tino had in mind; maybe pictionary or something along those_
continued to watch him, waiting for him to sit down. "Thank you... for letting me come over."
smiled as he sat down. "Thank you f'r coming over."
got up as soon as he sat down, he moved over to him and sat himself in his lap, kissing him lightly. "You're welcome."
blinked, surprised at the sudden weight in his lap. "Ah..." He sighed quietly, kissing back lightly.
moved to kiss him on the neck lightly, wrapping his arms around his shoulders.
took in a sharp breath, tilting his head to the side unconsciously. He tried to convince himself not to over-think what was going on as he_
rested his hands on Tino's waist.
nipped lightly at his neck before he kissed the spot, pressing himself closer to Berwald lightly. He had a feeling he knew what Berwald
tensed, closing his eyes as his neck tingled. His mind raced, however, rather than enjoying the sensation. What if Tino was doing this to_
take advantage of him, or if it was only because he'd been drinking? What if he did something wrong and pissed off Tino again?
felt him tense and paused, looking up at him curiously for a moment before he kissed him softly. "Berwald what's wrong?"
shook his head. "Nothin'..."
blinks a few times. "You sure?" He moved to run his hands up his chest, pulling him closer.
nodded slowly, his eyes closed slightly. "I... ah..."
kissed him again, deeper than before, he had sobered up a bit during the train ride here. He wanted to do this and he really hoped Berwald
may have wanted to do it as well... but he wasn't very confident in this regard. He tightened his arms around Tino's waist as he kissed him_
back, smiling lightly at the slight taste of rum and eggnog.
glad he returned the kiss. He slowly deepened it, wanting to taste more of him as one of his hands brushed through his hair. He'd wanted to
shifted his weight awkwardly as he adjusted himself. He kissed him back, though he felt more than a little bit self conscious, worrying that
his inexperience with kissing often was making him look foolish.
thought he was doing it perfectly, he wasn't very good at kissing either. He broke the kiss to look at him again, smiling. "I really am glad
smiled in agreement and sighed with relief at the statement. "Me too."
lightly brushed his fingers through his short hair before he kissed him again softly this time.
ran his hand over Tino's back as he kissed back timidly.
wasn't going to push him, he kept the kiss light, "Su-san... can I tell you something?"
flushed a bit, moving to bury his face in his neck, "I've only done it with two other people..."
took a minute to realize what he had meant. "... Ah..." He was curious about who it was, but he didn't want to ask.
wrapped his arms around him lightly. "Humans..." he explained, figuring Berwald wouldn't ask.
nodded slowly. "Ah..." He debated whether or not he should admit to what he had done.
didn't think he had too, he just really wanted to tell him that.
"Kissed Astrid..." He admitted quietly, feeling like he would have been keeping a dirty secret if he didn't admit to it now.
blinked a few times at that, he looked up at him a bit confused. "Ah..." he didn't know what to say to him.
stared at their laps sheepishly, regretting having ever done it. "S'rry..." He mumbled. "Y're bett'r..."
took a moment before he shook his head, he tilted his chin up and kissed him again lightly. "No... don't be sorry."
smiled and kissed Tino's nose. "Y're m' favorite."
grinned a bit at that, he kissed him on the cheek in return. "I'm glad."
closed his eyes and sighed, his cheeks turning a light shade of pink. "Ja' alsk' di'... Y'know?... Always 'ave."
glanced up at him and flushed again. "Minä rakastan teitä," he kissed him lightly with that.
couldn't help but smile at that, a warm feeling spreading from his chest at hearing the words, even if they were in Finnish.
didn't know that him saying them in Finnish would be a problem. He hugged him tightly with that, "you're a good kisser too."
flushed at the compliment. "I'm glad..." He mumbled quietly, willing the blush to subside. He didn't mind Finnish, though it wasn't his_
wasn't terribly fond of Swedish either, not after he'd practically been forced to learn it. He glanced up at him before he got up from his
lap, grabbing the bottle of vodka. "Drink?"
nodded with a smile, kissing Tino's forehead before twisting off the top of the bottle.
grabbed two glasses and smiled, he was glad Berwald hadn't taken adversely to the personal contact.
didn't mind physical contact in the privacy of a home... Especially when it was with Tino.
always got the feeling he did. He poured them each a glass before he sat back down in his lap, sipping at his as he handed Berwald the other
nodded in thanks and downed the glass in one chug. It burned to drink it so quickly, but the sooner he drank it, the sooner he'd loosen up.
took a few more sips of his before he poured Berwald more.
sipped more slowly at it this time, not wanting to seem too eager. "Th'nks."
finished his glass off quickly, shuddering at the taste and poured himself more.
felt the warm tingling of the vodka by the time he finished his second glass. He grabbed the bottle from Tino and poured the rest in to his_
watched him curiously as he continued to sip his own glass, he was already pleasantly buzzed again as he watched him drink.
hated having a higher tolerance to alcohol. He tried not to drink often, hoping it would lower it... but centuries of drinking had ruined it
for him. He sipped at his third glass and looked at Tino. "Hm?"
would offer him the rest of his if he wanted it. "You're sexy you know that?"
shook his head with a quiet laugh, his cheeks tinging pink. "Nej. 'M not."
nods, "I think you are. I wouldn't want to sleep with you so badly if I didn't think so." He never would have said if he hadn't drank more
turned bright red. "Oh?" He hadn't realized Tino wanted to sleep with him that badly...
nodded, noticing the blush he blinked a bit, "didn't you know?" he tilted his head slightly.
shook his head sheepishly, taking another sip of his drink as his fingers drummed lightly on Tino's waist.
stared for a long moment before he sipped at his drink, "Oh..." he smiled with that. "Well now you do!"
smiled and kissed Tino lightly on the lips. "'M glad."
kissed him back lightly, "really?" he had thought that the other wouldn't be to thrilled about that confession.
nodded with a small smile. "Ja." He wondered why someone wouldn't be happy to hear that someone they liked liked them back...
just really thought he was against the whole... contact thing. He kissed him again with that thought, deepening it without hesitation.
hummed quietly in to the kiss, wrapping his arms around Tino tightly as he closed his eyes and pressed in to him.
tilted his head so he could deepen it more, nearly dropping his almost empty glass.
pulled back after a little while, resting his forehead against Tinos with a quiet sigh.
licked his lips lightly as he kept his eyes closed, tightening his hold on the glass. "I'm so sleeping with you tonight," he mostly meant
that he was going to sleep in the same bed as him.
stiffened at the proclamation, unsure of what exactly Tino had meant. "Ah... 'Kay..."
smiled at that, he wasn't sure why he stiffened so much. "It'll be warmer and more comfortable."
nodded and kissed Tino's cheek. He drank the rest of his vodka and leaned over to set the glass on the table. "Y' wanna go t' bed now?"
blinked a bit at that as he looked at his own glass before he offered it to Berwald. "Sure."
took the glass and set it on the table besides his own. He smiled and rubbed Tino's arm gently, waiting for him to move.
slowly got up with that, stumbling a bit.
stood up behind him, the drinks hitting him almost suddenly as his head grew a bit fuzzier. He laughed lightly to himself and waited for_
Tino to start moving towards the bedroom.
caught his hand and tugged him along to the bedroom.
smiled, tightening his hold on his hand as he followed Tino, barely remembering to shut off the lights as they shuffled down the hall.
got into the bedroom and pulled him to the bed, pausing only when he remembered to take off his jeans.
shimmied out of his pants and jacket, draping them over a bedside table out of laziness. He unbuttoned his shirt and pulled it off before
climbing in to the cold bed.
left his own shirt on as he climbed into the bed as well, instantly snuggling up to Berwald.
