jumps a bit, startled. "... Don't scare me like that." She blushes a little in embarrassment. She'd been wrapping light's around one of her-
-bushes. "But yes, please. And if you could put the lights up along the edge of the roof?"
safe too. :/ She fixes her sock monkey beanie a bit, hugging herself. It was cold. "What are your plans for Christmas, broer?"
sighs softly. She knew the second she changed back he would go back to being this way. She doesn't say anything else. Instead, she heads-
-inside to get the ornaments and lights for the tree.
- Whatever. She puts on some music to distract herself before she starts on decorating the tree. Tegan and Sara always calmed her down.
working on the tree, using a step ladder to reach the top of the tree. BT She didn't like being short.
... never said she wasn't glad. If it's an argument he wants then he's going to find it, though. :/
does. After the rest of the tree was decorated.
eventually finishes up and smiles happily.
- "I need the step ladder." She murmurs, taking the star before scooting the ladder over.
... thanks him softly before reaching to place the star at the top of the tree.
hums. "I think. Want some wine?"
walks into the kitchen. She sighs to herself. Just relax...
would rather not say. Everything was fine. She pours two glasses of white wine and brings them over.
isn't. She's thinking too much. About... Everything. And she's worried and scared. "Welcome." She goes to turn on the Christmas lights-
on the tree before taking a sip of the wine.
how the tree turned out. Its very bright. She doesn't look at him. "What do you think?"
licks her lips idly. "Why do you think something's wrong?"
that he can. She shrugs a little, taking a long drink of wine. "Maybe you're misreading?"
whines a bit. "No. I don't want to talk about it."
- "I know.." She bites her bottom lip, blushing a bit. "But I don't want to... I don't want to ruin anything."
- The relative 'pease' they currently have.
.... peace* .. wtf typo ))
nods and just drinks her wine.
- "Not much of a difference." ~__~
huffs. "It was not five minutes." :/
blushes in irritation. "Yeah, well, you're an ass~"
shrugs. "Mildly." She glances at him, arching an eyebrow. "Why? You can't be around me without being drunk?" Ass.
sticks her tongue out at him. "And I replied."
going to bug him now, because this was how she handled her problems. BT
doesn't want to talk about her stupid problems anymore.
Elyse
thinks 12 years ago
it would hurt him more if she spoke! She doesn't know what the heck to do anymore.
watches him. She can feel him pulling away and she wants to reach out and grab him.
looks up at him, looking miserable. "Hm?"
sighs, idly running her fingers along the rim of her glass. "Can't we pretend nothing's wrong? And... arm wrestle or something?"
- "Just... ngh." She mumbles, finishing off her wine before getting up and stomping into the kitchen like a child.
pouts to herself as she pours herself another glass of wine. "I think I need to hang the mistletoe."
- "Wherever." She downs the entire glass in one go.
would have put it there. She pours herself a third glass. "Thanks."
drop kick him if he touches her ornaments. BT She thinks they're perfect the way they are.
doesn't care. They're allowed to touch if they so wish to. BT
- "Nikolaas." She growls a little.
frowns deeply. She walks over to the kitchen archway, glaring daggers at him as she sips her wine. The things she wanted to do to that man..
(Don't you know you're not supposed to mess with her ornament's? :/ )
(haha. I can assure you said things are not pleasant.)
- "I don't like people rearranging my ornaments after I've fixed them.."
arches an eyebrow. "Make me." She didn't like being told what to do. ~__~ She sips her wine.
- "Maybe you're not getting any more wine because you messed with my ornaments."
walks over to the tree and fixes them the way they were.
makes sure the ornaments are touching before she sits on the couch, curling up and enjoying her victory.
knows his eye is twitching and she smirks.
frowns. "I will end you."
isn't usually murderous. She just doesn't want him messing with her ornaments. Let them touch. BT
say's its because that's how she put them. BT
tosses a piece of peppermint candy at the back of his head.
gets up and fixes them again.
won't stop him. Whatever.
- "You're back to acting distant again. I liked it better when I was a kid."
- "Meaning, you actually treated me as if I was there when I was a child."
stares at him. "... Had to?"
- "And now? Now you don't have to?" She looks away, looking.. frustrated.
- "That's not what I'm talking about." She grits her teeth a little.
- "Whatever." She snaps, getting up and walking back into the kitchen. God.
so frustrated with everything.
- "You. You're wrong with me."
she sniffs a bit. Her nose and cheeks were red, seeing as the wine had settled and she was... emotional. "There's more to it.. but it's-
-a long story and I don't care to repeat it again."
- "I've only been saying it over and over again." Discreetly, however. Subtle hints... And finally, a confession.. but..
- "Change what?" She sniffs again, lightly gripping the edges of the counter, bowing her head a little.
shakes her head quickly. "No.."
sniffs. The only way he would change anything is if he physically hurt her. Nothing would change otherwise. She couldn't... help it.
would only be more frantic if he left..
very... She's a little drunk, so..
shakes her head. "You don't understand.."
- "I don't know, Nikolaas..." She almost whines, sliding down onto the floor and leaning against the cabinets.
shakes her head, drawing her knees up to her chest. "No.. Just.. leave me here.." Okay, maybe she'd had a little too much wine.
tries to make herself heavy. "Noooo...."
tries to roll onto her back. "Nikoaas.."
goes limp, wanting to act like dead weight.
- "Didn't.. It was just a glass." She mumbles.
emotional at the moment. She sniffs, scooting away from him.
didn't like him calling her Belgium. It reminded her of when she was young and he would call her by her full name when she did something-
watches the Christmas tree.
- "You can leave. You wanted to."
she sighs, feeling miserable. "Mhh.."
sniffles. "For being a humungous idiot."
rests her cheek against her knees.
closes her eyes, relaxing a bit.
gets up and goes to get another glass of wine.
- "Ja.." She doesn't though. And she simply sits on the kitchen counter, drinking from the bottle.
looks up at him with a sheepish little smile. "Oheeey..."
tries to hold the bottle away from him. "What what? Why?"
sniffs a bit and offers him the bottle of wine.
- "I should go see Lovi.."
sniffles. ".. Kay." He would anyway. He always did.
doesn't want him to leave either, but she can't just ignore Lovi.
nods.. "I will..." She looks up at him. "I'll see you soon?"
stands up, stumbling a little. Mmh. "Kay.." She heads back toward the living room, grabbing a coat.
- "I'm not!" Oh, she was.
doesn't like being told what to do. She glares right back before heading for the door. "Watch me."
whines and gets up again. "Don't."
- "Just.. I'm not drunk. I can go."
- "Not.." She murmurs, opening the door. "It's fine."
turns to look at him. "... What? That's different." Her eyebrows furrow a little. "Th-that's different because I am not leaving you, I'm-
-just going to see Lovi. When you leave me, it's because you're angry and don't want to see me."
- "If it's not true then why do you do it?" She slams the door shut, turning to face him now, glaring at him. "Believe me, I'm dying to-
- "I asked you a question, Nikolaas."
- "Not without answering me."
glares at him. She leaves the house, slamming the door shut.
