I have a culinary question for the food folk out there. Have you done meal planning before? Was it successful? How did you do it? Tools?

Yes. I found an app. It was easier when I wasn't single though.

When I do it, I brainstorm the meals we like and see where some patterns are so I can stock up on ingredients.

Dinners are easy for me; it's breakfasts and lunches that I run out of ideas on. Unless it's leftovers, I'm usually scrambling

Hmmmm. Being a single bloke I don't often make breakfast. Not a traditional one.

I have this idea and it involves meal planning, groceries etc. It's sort of expensive but should be worth it.

Old conversation, but thought I'd mention that we use a weekly menu planner from
savingdinner.com
in the Geek home.
