Firefox better than Safari? If I want Firefox, do I leave Safari on my Mac, too, or take it off? Thanks for any help.

I would leave it on in case you have any troubles with FF. I would also recommend Chrome. IMHO it's better than both.

I have a just in case browser in case one fails

I never take a browser off. I actually have several because I use them for different things. I log into all my Google accts at once!

Yep, leave it on. Mulitple browsers won't really hurt anything!

You should also consider installing Chrome while you are at it!
