As you can see if you look closely in my icon, I have a tattoo of Deacon Frost's glyph from Blade

It's my first tattoo and my only at the moment

Since it was my first it originally meant everything under the sun

Now its significance is more self-empowerment.

In the movie, the vampires give it to their human slaves to show ownership. I look at the tattoo as the fact that I gave it to myself.

Therefore I own myself and shouldn't allow other people's influences to deter from what I truly want and hold dear.

So far it's worked kinda... but when I felt myself falling for someone who was bad news for me last time, I wished it would burn--

Like Harry Potter's scar.

I'm thinking for my next tattoo, I'm going to go with something that combines symbols for male and female...

And I've considered using Gallifreyan for that purpose.

Geeky and meaningful seem to be my cup of tea when it comes to tattoos
