Reading a book about the Crusades for fun

It's actually really good, though!

I enjoyed my little book on Caesar.

I've also got a book published in the 19th Century about Europe in the Middle Ages. :3 I haven't gotten around to reading it yet, though. :3

Somehow I feel like that book will be full of racist remarks against Muslims.

I suspect so, but it's mostly pro-protestant stuff early on. And worshipping the Greeks and Romans.

I'm going to use it to try and get the perspective of a 19th century academic. One of my characters is a steampunk scholar.
