Surgery is cancelled until he can pay a $750 co-pay. Is this outrageous? (He's on Medicare and can't afford the supplemental insurance)

is he in the hospital? or was thus outpatient? maybe if he goes through the ER they have to take care of it and they will bill him.

He's not in the hospital. they found this accidentally during some other procedures he was having done as an outpatient.

My dad had a brain aneurysm.. they had to do emergency surgery.

we're still working on getting at least a delayed payment on this from the hospital involved.
