saying that they are tragic but that there are other elements to their story that make me not focus solely on the tragic part

by what it tells us about her relationship with her, and her relationship with jade, and the ways in which she has and hasn't grown

so yeah objectivity has nothing to do with it

it is just an arbitrary declaration about what i personally find sad-without-alleviation.
