hears a noise outside and frowns. There was a storm out and it was starting to snow heavily but it sounded like Mr. Puffin was stuck.
She grabs boots and doesn't bother with a coat as she rushes outside.
hadn't known she had left. He was napping on his bed.
yells out for Mr. Puffin, starting to panic as she rushes around the yard, searching through the bushes.
could faintly hear her, and slowly sat up. He yawned as he made his way down the stairs. "Ari...?"
Mr. Puffin stands at the top of the stairs and chirps at him. Ari keeps searching, the sounds getting louder.
frowns a little. Eya was at the door, chirping at him too. "Ari?" He was getting worried now, and was looking around downstairs.
Mr. Puffin hops downstairs to stare at the door, trying to get him to go outside. Ari frowns deeper, the chirps she hears unfamiliar.
blinks and finally got it. He noticed her boots were gone, but not her coat. He cursed and got his boots and coat on before running outside.
crawls under some brush, getting closer to the sound. "Come here...."
covered himself up, cursing. It was cold. "Ari?!"
didn't hear him, too fixated on trying to coax the crying puffin out from hiding.
cursed some more and kept looking around. He noticed foot prints and started following them, but they were faint.
finally sees the puffin wiggle a little towards her, covered in snow and ice. She frowns and quickly picks the chick up and holds him close.
yells out. "ARI!" He was worrid.
blinks at the noise and holds the puffin close as she wiggles out of the brush.
almost trips over her. "Ari! What in Odin's name are ye doin' out in this weather!?"
blinks up at him in surprise and shivers, only now realizing how cold it was. "I-I had to!"
frowns and takes his coat off, putting it around her shoulders. "Come on, let's get home..."
pulls the coat off with one hand and wraps it around the puffin.
frowns more and looks at the puffin, blinking. "... Is that why ye came out here?"
nods slowly and rushes towards the house.
follows her, shivering a bit already. It was cold...
holds the bundle close as she opens the door, holding it open for him.
gets inside and closes it once she was in, trying to keep the warmth in. He looked over to her, curious about the puffin now.
sits down near the fireplace and takes the coat off him, using her hands to brush the ice off him.
sits close beside her. "Poor guy..." He shifted to put more wood in the fire.
nods slowly and holds onto the puffin as it chirps and tries to follow Soren.
went to get a blanket from the couch before sitting back beside her and putting the blanket around the both of them.
cuddles into him and rubs the puffin to get him warm. The little puffin cries and tries to wiggle over to Soren.
frowns a little. He hated when puffins cried... he just carefully went to pet him.
The puffin coos and presses into his hand, wiggling happily at the attention.
smiles. "He's cute..."
pauses and looks at the puffin carefully.
hums and continued to pet him, enjoying this.
fidgets. She didn't want to say anything yet but she thought this might be the puffin that had liked him when they went out puffin rescuing.

totally oblivious to that. He was just enjoying how the puffin seemed to like him.
The puffin chirps happily at him. Ari fidgets before setting the puffin on his lap.
blinks and looks over to her.
fidgets. "Keep him warm."
nods and holds him close, smiling. "He's so cute..." And he did seem familiar.
nods slowly and watches them. The puffin coos happily and shuts his eyes, nuzzling against his hand.
slowly started to realize who it was... "... Is he the puffin that I wanted to go after because his cries were painful to hear..?"
pauses before shrugging. "He... he might be..."
watches him a bit before smiling and gasping a bit. He then hugged him closely, wiggling a bit.
smiles faintly as the puffin chirped happily and nipped at his hair.
laughs and wiggles more. "I'm amazed he showed up...."
nods and cuddles closer. "I am too..."
smiles at her. "Our family just keeps gettin' bigger~"
blinks at him. "You want to keep him...?"
frowns a bit and looks at him. "A-ah... Ja... I would..." He looked at her. "Is... is that okay...?"
smiles and nods. "Ja, it is."
smiles and hugs her tightly, keeping the puffin safe. He was happy~
hugs them both, the little puffin chirping happily.
felt Eya hop into his lap, trying to see what was going on. She could tell there was another puffin in the house.
Mr. Puffin just rolled his eyes and walked over to his blankets, guarding them.
lowered the little puffin for Eya to see. She instantly started nuzzling him and chirping.
The little puffin freezes in fear at first before chirping quietly at her.
Eya calms down a bit and just nuzzles him lightly. She liked that there was a little puffin to take care of..
watches them. "We're going to have to figure out a name for him."
nods. "Ja... do ye have any ideas?"
shakes her head. "You can pick."
hums. "I've heard millions of names in my time.. It'll take a while."
nods slowly. "Or we could just get you drunk like last time we named one."
laughs a bit. "Ye think that's the best option?"
shakes her head. "Nei, I barely kept Eya from having a weird name last time."
chuckles and nods. "Ja... but her name is awesome." He petted her a bit.
nods. "Only because I had to come up with some way to humor you and give her a good name."
rolls his eyes. "Ja ja~" He petted the new puffin some more. "What should yer name be little guy..."
The puffin chirps up at him quietly, as if giving a name.
frowns. He doesn't speak puffin...
doesn't either but laughs faintly. "He's cute..."
nods a little. "Ja... I just wish givin' names was easier." He had no idea what to call him.
nods slowly and leans in to kiss the puffin on the top of his head.
watches them, smiling happily. Eya hopped around a bit, excited.
hums quietly. "We should name him after something of yours since Eya's named after one of my volcanoes."
nods a little. "Ja... that makes sense..."
smiles at him. "Besides, he really likes you so that would make him happy."
smiles and nods. He was trying to think of some names, almost getting too many ideas now...
leans against him and pets the puffin.

tries to think of some names too.
frowns. "I don't know if I want to name him either Hans, Christian, or Andersen..."
laughs faintly. "Those are cute... Maybe Hans? Or if we call him Andersen, we can shorten it to Andi."
smiles and nods. "Ja! I kinda like Hans..." He petted the puffin more.
nods. "I like Hans, too."
smiles. "Hans~ Hans Hans Haannnsss~"
The puffin tilts his head at him and chirps once.
smiles down at him. "Do ye like that name, Hans~?"
smiles as Hans chirps up at him happily, wiggling.
laughs and holds him up, hugging him and wiggling.
laughs faintly, watching them. Hans flapped his wings happily.
smiles and put him down on some of the blanket, rubbing him a bit more to help warm him up.
Hans keeps wiggling, trying to get closer to him.
laughs and pets him. "Don't worry... ye're not goin' anywhere..."
smiles and keeps watching them, glad to see him so happy.
loved baby puffins.. and normal puffins. This guy was just so full of life.
liked puffins, too, so she was so glad that he did as well.
fell onto his back and lifted the baby puffin above him, laughing as he did so.
laughs faintly as Hans chirps in surprise and wiggles in his hands.
smiles and wiggles with him, swaying from side to side after.
stands up, smiling to herself.
watches her and turns the baby puffin to look at her. "Where're ye goin'?"
blinks back at them. "Getting him something to eat..."
smiles. "Tak. He'll appreciate it~" He nuzzled the puffins beak a bit.
Hans chirped happily at the nuzzling as Ari started to the kitchen to make the puffin food.
laughs a little with Hans, rolling around on the floor. Eya just hopped around him, flapping her wings at the excitment.
Mr. Puffin tucks his head under his blanket, annoyed. Ari hums to herself as she sets things up,

gets a small dropper and a cup of the mixture she made for Hans and walks back.
had rolled onto his stomach by then, Hans having fun running over his back. He just laughed at how it tickled.
laughs under her breath and sits down next to him, trying to grab Hans.
wiggles a bit from how it tickled. He stayed on his stomach even after Eya had jumped onto his back as well.
manages to grab the wiggling puffin and pulls him off his back, holding him close and trying to feed him as he starts to cry.
frowns as he heard that sound. Eya didn't shift from his back but she chirped quietly.
sighs as she tries to coax Hans into eating.
"What's wrong with him...?"
frowns. "I think he just wants to be with you more."
blinks. "I wonder why that is.." He crawled over with Eya still on his back and petted him.
Hans settled down a little and blinks up at Ari before reluctantly eating..
smiles a bit. "There we go..."
smiles faintly at the puffin as he ate eagerly, realizing that he liked it.
laughs a bit. "He's so cute..." Eya pouted a bit, not liking having no attention.
nods and smiles at the puffin as he eats all of the food quickly.
claps a bit. "Good boy~" He was proud of him.
Hans blinks over at him and chirps happily at the noise.
smiles at him and shifts a bit closer to them.
glances over at him and passes Hans over.
smiles and takes him, holding him close.
watches for a bit before standing up to put the food things away.
rolls around with Hans. Eya chirped and pouted, hopping off him and goes to sulk in a corner.
Mr. Puffin smirks at Eya. Now she knew how he felt.
Eya pouted at him. She wasn't use to being ignored like this...
walks back and sits next to Soren and Hans, smiling.
holds him up. "Isn't he cutteeee~?"
nods and pets him as he chirps excitedly.
laughs with him. "I hope he gets more use to ye..."
shrugs. "I'm sure he will."
nods and puts him down before getting up and stretching.
keeps an eye on Hans as the puffin had yet to be in houses.
headed towards the kitchen. He wanted a beer~
blinks over at him. "Getting food...?"
chuckles. "Close enough~" He got the beer and opened it, taking a few good sips before taking a breath.
rolls her eyes.
walks back over and looks around. "Huh...where's Eya and Mr. Puffin?"
blinks before looking around quickly. "I dunno..."
frowns. "Eya~?" She chirped a bit from her spot in the corner.
looks over in her direction. "Mr. Puffin?"
Eya huffed a bit and sulkingly came towards them.
blinks at her. "Eya...?"
frowns and kneels down, holding his hand out. "Come here, girl..."
pets Hans as she watches them.
Eya just pouts more and turns her back to them.
sighs faintly. "We still love you Eya..." Hans chirps sadly at her.
nods. "Ja..." He picked her up and nuzzled her. "We all love ye~" Cept maybe Mr. Puffin...
Mr. Puffin liked her well enough... Just as long as she didn't hog too much attention.
Eya tried not to... most of the time.
Mr. Puffin noticed that she had calmed down a little so he tolerated her more easily now.
Eya was glad at that... Maybe now they could be ignored together.
Mr. Puffin would probably still ignore her...
Eya would just sulk more then. She liked attention...
Mr. Puffin knew she did which is why he'd get upset. He liked attention, too....
Eya just pouts and jumps onto the couch, curling up on it.
frowns a little at her.
dose too... He walked over and sat beside her, petting her.
nods when she sees him and pets Hans, wanting to make sure he got used to humans soon.
hoped he did... And that all the puffins got along.

didn't know how much a little puffin could make the others jealous..

sighs before smiling a bit. "What if we give 'em all a bath...?"
blinks over at him and pauses before laughing. "I don't think Mr. Puffin would like that too much..."
blinks. "Why not? Not even if it was warm, and we had fish to feed 'em...?"
shrugs. "I dunno... I've never tried..."
smiles. "Then let's try!" He headed upstairs and started to fill the tub with water.
glances over at Mr. Puffin's blankets. "Are you at least going to join us...?" The puffin just glowered a little.
Eya heard the water and instantly shot up the stairs. Struggling a bit to climb up and chirping loudly.
Mr. Puffin rolls his eyes and watches Eya. Ari takes the chance to swoop in and pick him up, Hans shivering a little, scared of Mr. Puffin..
tested the water to make sure it was nice and warm for them. Eya kept struggling up the stairs, almost there.
carries both puffins upstairs, Mr. Puffin grumbling and Hans shivering.
had taken his shirt off just as Eya got in. He smiled. "Good girl~"
blinks at him in surprise when she walks in.
looks over to her, blinking back. "Somethin' wrong?"
shakes her head and blushes before carefully setting Mr. Puffin in the water.
picks Eya up and puts her in the water too. "Good girl..."
Mr. Puffin just stares up at her, annoyed. Ari pets him a little, trying to get him to calm down a little before putting Hans in with them.
smiles a little at how thy all were. "Cute..." He poured some water on Eya.
Mr. Puffin settles down and just grumbles. Pausing, Ari slowly sets Hans in the water, keeping a close eye on him.
smiles a little. "M'glad they're not fightin'..."
nods and very carefully pours water on Hans.

Hans blinks around in confusion and chirps quietly up at Soren.

smiles a little at the puffins, comforting Hans as he got used to the water.
chuckles a little. "Should I get some fish for them?"
blinks over at him and shrugs. "If you want... Hans is too small to eat them whole yet..."
nods. "I'll cut them up... Eya likes hers cut a certain way too." He kissed her cheek quickly before running downstairs.
frowns a little as he leaves and pets Hans.
gathered up some fish, cutting up some into a little bowl for Hans and then gets two more bowls for Eya and Mr. Puffin.
notices Mr. Puffin trying to sneak away and blocks his way, Hans starting to cry loudly.
frowns a bit, hearing him. He cleaned up a bit before bringing the bowls upstairs. "Shh, s'okay Hans..."
Hans instantly stop crying when Soren walks in. Mr. Puffin perks up at the smell of fish.
smiled and kneels down, putting the bowls between him and Ari. Eya shifted to the front of the tub.
Mr. Puffin hops out and starts eating from a bowl.
huffs. "Nej nej!" He put Mr. Puffin back in the tub. This was why he didn't wear a shirt...
laughs faintly and pets Mr. Puffin.
chuckles and pets them a little each. "So cute..."
Mr. Puffin scowls at him, wanting his fish.

nods a bit. "Ja... Mr. Puffin and Eya get a little extra then." He shifted some of the fish around. Eya chirped, smelling the fish.
Hans gives him puppy eyes, begging.

Hans edges towards them and peeps quietly.
chuckles. "Ye'll get some too... don't worry."
Hans just stare up at him sadly.

watches the smaller puffins as she dries Mr. Puffin.
chuckles as he hears Eya and Hans chirp, and can tell Eya is biting the towel and trying to pull it around.
Hans peeps in fear at the towel moving and tries to cuddle Soren.
dries him off a bit more before letting him escape and nuzzle him. "This guy... he's so cute. But he's gotta get use to ye."
nods and pets Hans softly, the little puffin chirping quietly at her.
smiles. "This'll be fun... Maybe Eya can teach him some things too... and Mr. Puffin..."
nods. "She still has to learn how to fly... She's... she's a little behind on that..."
frowns and nods. "Ja... I don't know why..." He pokes her wings.
picks up Hans and cuddles him a little as Mr. Puffin just sits to the side.
sighs and picks up Eya, unfolding one of her wings and stretching it carefully.
sighs. "She'll learn on her own... hopefully... Just give her some time..."
sighs. "But she's had tons of time." Eya just pouted and looked at him.
nods. "Everyone learns at different paces..."
sighs and puts Eya on his shoulder. She nuzzled in close to him, nipping at his hair a bit.
smiles and pets Hans as he stared at Eya, wanting to nibble the hair as well.
doesn't see why the puffins like his hair so much... Though he didn't really care that they nibbled it.
Hans just did. It was strange and it looked like it would taste good.
doubts his hair holds much nutritional value for puffins.

nods and smiles. "Ja... don't wanna risk the others scaring him..." He smiled and drained the tub. "I'ma go fix up Eya's blankets for
tonight, but then I'll help ye make somethin' for Hans."
nods and pets Hans before standing up with him, heading off to look for spare blankets.
went downstairs and moved Eya's blankets closer to the fire. He didn't want her to get cold or anything.
holds Hans close as he starts to whimper. She manages to find a few and tries to arrange them in a nest for him on the floor.
got Eya's nest all set up and put her down in it. She quickly rolled around and ruined the design, making him roll his eyes.
Mr. Puffin curls up in his own blankets and closes his eyes, tired from the younger puffins.
Eya fell asleep quickly after. She always got tired after playing in the water.
can't get the blankets right as Hans wails and tries to wiggle away from her.
frowns hearing the little guy cry out. He quickly ran up stairs and into the room. "Shh, Hans. It's okay."
frowns and passes Hans to him so she can set up his bed.
takes him and holds him close, petting the little guy.
sets up the blankets and sets them in a tall box so he couldn't run around free all night.
hums and sways a little with Hans.
glances up at them and smiles faintly. Hans cooed softly up at him and starts to fall asleep.
smiles at that. "Good boy..." He kissed the top of Hans' head a bit before carefully putting him in the nest.
Hans peeps at him quietly, snuggling into the blankets, glad for their warmth.
smiles widely. "Cute. Tak Ari, for doin' that."
nods slowly. "It was nothing..."
kisses her lightly before hugging her.
hugs him back. Hans watches them sleepily.
smiles. "Ready for bed?"
nods against him and yawns.
kisses her cheek before going and lying down on the bed.
follows after him and crawls in with him.
instantly wraps his arms around her, pulling her close and nuzzling her.
blushes but cuddles against him, Hans making a lonely crying noise.
couldn't hear him right now. He was enjoying holding Ari too much...
Hans starts to cry a little louder.
blinks and frowns a bit. "Shh, Hans.."
sighs faintly. "Maybe if we put a blanket over him...?"
nods and shifts a bit, putting a blanket over him carefully.
Hans chirps sadly but settles down a little.
smiles. "Good boy. Just sleep now.."
Hans curls up in his blanket, cooing softly.
smiles more before going back to nuzzle against Ari.
starts to fall asleep, clinging to him.
hums and holds her close, falling asleep quickly. He was exhausted.
