looks up at him, almost shy. She doesn't understand why exactly. "Hallo..."
bites her lip, idly shrugging her shoulder. "I was in the neighborhood. And your house seemed to jump in my way, so... I came over."
- "I forget." She hummed softly, rocking on her feet for a moment before looking over his shoulder. "How are you?"
- "Painting?"
- "What are you painting?"
- "What kind of stuff?" She casually brushes past him.

looking them over. "What is this?"
stares at it. "Clearly you're not alright."
- "This..." She gestures to the painting. "This isn't you."

used to the gorgeous, bright landscapes he's usually painting. "No. But okay, broer."
stops him with a hand on his arm. "Don't."
- "You don't need to move it."
looks it over a second more before glancing at him. "Broer, I miss you."
smiles. "Good question."
shakes her head. "Not really."
- "Not very long. I just wanted to make sure you were okay, hun."
folds her arms over her chest, watching him go.

- "It doesn't feel as though we are, hun."
shrugs slightly. "I'm not sure."
bites her lip. "You know I love you more than the waking world, right?"
glares at him.
storms over to him and tackles him.
- "I want a reaction out of you, you walking iceberg." BT
- "Because! Why is it that I'm the only one that suffers?!" She snaps at him.
slaps him, though there isn't nearly any hate or power behind it. "God." She hisses, running a hand through her hair.

brushes his hair back a bit, leaning forward to press their foreheads together. "Stop it. Whatever you're doing."
- "You think this is easy for me?" She sighs.
- "Then stop it. Stop being... so cold."
- "Why?" She whispers, lightly caressing his cheek, mostly trying to get him to open his eyes again.
- "Tell me." She demands firmly.
cups his face. "Nikolaas, I'm begging you. Please.... Let me in."
- "Please..." Softer this time.
touches his lip. "Don't do that." She sighs. "Nikolaas..."

genuinely surprised for a few moments before she wraps her arms around his neck as best she can, holding onto him.
- "I've missed you too, broer. So much."
lightly presses her lips to his forehead, letting them linger there fore a moment.
looks down at him. "Are you okay?"
brushes his hair back again, moving so she was supporting herself with one hand on the ground. "I'm sorry."
- "Nikolaas... How can you say that?" She sighed softly. "You know it is."
turns his face to look at her again. "You know it is."
touches his lip. "Don't do that."
- "You'll hurt yourself." She smiles a bit before sighing, sitting back.
knows he's annoyed. She gets up and holds out a hand to him.
pulls him up. "Are you okay?"
- "Want me to make some tea?"
walks into his kitchen to look around for a tea pot.
eventually finds it and fills it up with water.

- "You're warm." She murmurs, resting her head against his chest.

startles a little when the tea pot starts whistling on the stove. Blushing in slight embarrassment, she pulls away and goes to get the tea-

adds the tea bags. "What's wrong?"
hums softly. "Have any pain meds?"
- "You never know until you try."
smiles a little before taking the cups over to the table.

takes a seat across from him.
- "Why can't you look at me?"
- "That's not an answer, dorkface."

shrugs her left shoulder. "I don't know. I just know that you won't say whatever it is."
sips her own tea.
goes to find some sugar.
eventually finds some and returns to the table. "Want some?"
scoops quite a bit of sugar into her cup, slowly stirring it before pushing the sugar over to Nikolaas.

slips into the house, going to grab a blanket from her old room before going to go play with the bunnies.
had lit a fire in the fireplace. She was sitting on the carpet there, wrapped up in the blanket with the bunnies huddled up in her lap.

idly pets one of the bunnies. "What did you think about?"

tickles the smaller bunny, smiling at the fact that it was so fast asleep that it only twitched its front feet a little in reaction.
