the 4s is an amazing upgrade on my old 3gs, i can't imagine the difference you'd see with 1st gen to 4s!

it reallly is much faster, and everything on the screen is so much clearer - much better for your eyes at that small scale!

i've been hearing it is a bug with IOS 5 and it making location service calls to update Timezone (you can disable this if you don't travel)

aware functions, etc, that are always on which affects battery life. Turning off some of the extras helps.

might not be a bug, hard to say, Just that it was checking a lot. I am running IOS 5 on my iphone 4 (non s) and don't notice a difference
