arrives at her house just a little bit after the arranged time, panting from having to run from the station here. He knocks.
((I'm going by the assumption that she invited him over? :c))
(ah, yup! I let it vague to give more room, so no problem =3 ))
makes sure her kitties are catnapping and then goes open the apartment door with a big smile on her face. "Welcome heeeere!" =D
never stop being surprised by her enthusiam, smiling shyly at her as he bows his greeting. "Sorry for arriving late; the train was delayed."
closes the door and hugs him joyfuly. "Don't be sorry, Japan is here and that's what matters to me!"
hesitantly pats her arm as she hugs him, suddenly feeling quite awkward in this position but not cold-hearted enough to tell her. "A-ah, I'm
cheerful but no dense! She lets go after a short while, still grinning. "So! Do you want something to eat or drink first?"
tries not to let out a sigh of relief when she lets go, returning her grin with one of his own smiles. "Anything is fine, thank you."
nods. "And I guess tea would be good, too. I think I have cookies, so just make yourself comfy and I'll be ready soon"
decides to follow her words and make himself comfortable on her sofa, fidgeting around a bit to get in a good position as he waits for her.
happily works on getting him some good green tea! And she returns soon with a tray. "Hope it's good!"
watches as she places the tray down, leaning forward to pick up a cup. Blowing across it lightly, he takes a measured sip of the tea. Ah,
green tea. He smiles at her. "It is delicious, thank you."
beams. "No problem, and thanks to you too!" She then takes a sip as well. "Yummy, indeed!"
chuckles at her exclaimation. "It may even be better than those of my own country."
very proud. "Of course! My leand has very nice teas and I love them all."
also very proud of her. "Indeed you do. I wonder if I may take some of this home with me...?"
nods, a big smile on her face. "Yes, I have an unopened box of this same tea! You did teach me many things about tea, and I'm a good--
-pupil!" Her eyes are slightly dark as she recalls the "Pearl of the Empire" days, but that goes away in few seconds.
that, at this very moment, she is quite cute, with that big grin on her face. "Indeed you are." He catches that fleeting change in her eyes,
but does not comment on it, content to just take another sip of the tea. "I'm glad to have taught such an able student."
glad he didn't bring it up, so she gratefully smiles at him. "Education is one of my plus and I love learning all kinds of things, so be--
--proud of me and my success!"
smiles back, the edges of it softening into something less nervous. "I'm very glad for your success." Darn, this tea is excellent.
just blushes happily at her brother's place and keeps sipping on her tea. It really is good, among the best she'd brewed in a while! <3

what it is that makes this tea so good, and whether or not he can try and coax the secret out of her. "So, how have you been?"
no secrets, she just does what she can! "Me? Ah, I've been well! Japan has no need to worry about me, I and my people are fine!"
that's quite the good mindset to have, and that she should keep to it. "That is good news," he chuckles. "But now that I'm here...what would
you like to do together?"
proud to see Japan's happy, and she promises she will. "Maybe I can show you my drawings, or we can draw something together!"
finds her company pleasant, and therefore has no reason to be unhappy. "Yes, that sounds like a good idea; may I see them?"
beam, she had been waiting for this. "Yes, they're here!" And she places a notebook on his lap, its Hello Kitty glittery cover shining --
looks down at the very cute cover of the notebook, trying not to be blinded by the sheer glitter on it. "Are there specific ones I can
see, or can I go through them all?"
kinda wonders if it'll ~dazzle~ him, so shiny it is! "It's all for viewing! Magical girls designs, Vocaloid, idols, clothes, yup!"
indeed very dazzle, quickly opening the cover to shield his eyes. The first page is one of Miku, and he tries not to croon at how cute
Taiwan drew her. He continues to flip through them, grasping at a few that are really nice. "You have much talent...I am almost envious."
giggles, she knew he'd like that cute Miku, and Luka, and Meiko, and Kaito... "I learned from the best!"
continues to oogle, finding a particularly cute-looking magical-girl heroine to be pleasing to the eyes. "Ah, but talent cannot be taught,
and this..." Gestures to the book. "...is talent."
blushes at her brother happily. "Talent is talent, but one has to learn how to use it too! I don't really believe in bad fortune, so I--
-- like to pour my efforts on this and that and all that I want to do."
looks at her intently, finding her determination and enthusiasm highly admirable. "You..." He chuckles. "You're right."
smiles fondly. "Yup, me. Not believing in bad fortune means that I must work hard to bring luck to my side, so I'll never give up."
takes another sip of his tea, only to find it empty...but he thinks it'll be rude of him to ask for a refill. "I am quite envious of your
positivity...but I, too, wish that you never give up." Another soft smile as he turns back to looking at the sketches.
also finished her tea, so she fills her cup and then looks at Japan. "Hey, do you want me to fill yours?"
fiddles with his empty cup for a bit, blinking up at her in surprise when she offers what he couldn't ask. "Ah, yes, that would be nice."
beams and does it. "There you go, nice tea is niiiice!"
laughs at that, taking a sip of his now-full cup of tea. "Your enthusiasm is quite catching~"
sips at her tea and nods. "I hope it's catching on Japan, too. You're sometimes too much of a shut-in..."
tries not to flinch at her words, knowing that they are true. "My apologies...I tend to be, how you say, culture shocked often..."
a bit guilty, but it's not time to be awkward. "Then maybe I and others can help you to see things better?"
