if he'd like to hang out then?
wouldn't mind the company at all. He hears its a nice night for a walk.
a walk would be lovely, and grabs his sweater before heading out.
waits for him patiently outside enjoying the chilly air.
waves to him when he sees him, jogging up. "Hey."
turns around and shoves his hands in his pocket. "Hey, kid. Ready to head out?"
smiles a little, and nods. "Yeah. Anywhere in particular you'd like to go?"
shrugs. "No, not really but I hear there's a nice view over the bridge."
nods, falling into step with him. "Sounds good to me eh."
smiles lightly. "Beautiful country you have here, Matthew. Although I'm not going to lie it gets cold quite fast."
hums softly, breathing out a breath to watch it freeze against the night air. "I guess it does eh, sorry about that. Thank you though," he
smiles a little. "Perhaps next time we should take a walk at your place eh?"
chuckles. "Well, I don't think you have to apologize it's not like you control the weather." The city was very nicely illuminated and
peaceful not something he got very often in Istanbul. It really depended on the area you were in.
smiles at him. "I guess. I'm used to it, so I always forget not everyone is..." he mumbles, looking up to the sky. He wished he could see
more of the stars, still.
glances up too. The big cities did stop them from seeing the stars, probably one of many faults about living in such a metropolitan.
hated that fact about modern living, though he liked most everything else. There was a reason he kept a cottage further north.
how far north Canada has his cottage...and also wonders how cold it gets?
it up close to the Hudson's Bay... he liked to go ice fishing there in the winter. The cold didn't bother him very much, considering a good
portion of his country was decidedly frozen.
knows that's really far north and as long as he's prepared wouldn't mind going up for a visit sometime.
would love to have him there of course. He'd have to make sure there were plenty of blankets.
would make sure to bring enough Turkish coffee to last them years.
would think that would make it even better then!
((also totally forgot until right now that matt's a girl right now... oops haha))
agrees full heartily and thinks with some Turkish Delight even better.
it should happen eventually.
agrees for sure! She sighs softly, kicking a rock away as they walk, enjoying the quiet.
spots the bridge and stirs them in that direction.
hums softly, following him without question.
decides to stop when they reach the mid-point of the breach. He leans on the railing and looks out at the river.
does the same, crossing her arms as she leaned on the railing, looking out. "...we should play pooh sticks," she laughs a little.
glances at Canada with a quirked brow. "What the hell is pooh sticks?"
laughs a little, she should have figured he wouldn't have known. "It's from Winnie the Pooh. You drop one stick in each, and then see
which one flows out the other side of the bridge first," she explains.
