I let it dry out for a couple days in a tray of rice and one gel packet ( all I had) and I just turned it on for the first time...

laptop seems functional? It's just the left shift key doesn't seem to work. This happens when I try to use it: ˆ Å ¨Íˆ˜˝ ˇÓ´ ÍÓˆÏˇ ´Á

it's like the option key is stuck down or something sorta.... o.O at least the right shift works

I was sort of in shock when it initially happened ahahaha I just sort of held it, listening to it make all these weird gurgling sounds

I shut it off after about 30 seconds or so but accidentally turned it back on when I finally tipped it upside down to get the water out

I hear that's when most of the damage can occur DDDD: something about short circuiting?

But yeah. I let it dry for two and a half days or so. So far so good.....
