Hmm, well companies mostly don't take a compliant personally. Rather they take it seriously. It's not like you're their friend and you're

telling them that they aren't good enough. You're a customer who's demands (that were according to their own writing) they failed to comply

to, and any company would take a complaint serious. Not everyone gives compensation, but at least it shows that they took it to heart.
