nods. "O-of course." That...actually sounded really nice! "I think there's s-some, ah...nature trails nearby. Um, if that's okay...?"

stares. "No... I don't think so..."

pauses. No? Okay, that was fine. He still wanted to go bike-riding though, right? Right? He was sure about that, after all, Denmark

brought it up. ...pretty sure. "A-alright. Ah...perhaps you should pick the location?"

"We could bike through the city!" Brightens. "The city's always nice."

smiles. "Okay then, let's do that." A city is fine too. And now for bikes...his is at home...

could not possibly be happier. "Alright! And then we can get some beers." Starts wandering. There should be bike shops, right?

follows. He thinks a beer is a good way to end the day. Although it'd probably be a good idea to have lots of water too, since they'll be

riding, and might get dehydrated. Um, right. "Ah...will I be able to rent a bike...?"

"Of course! Unless you don't know how to..." Gives him a look that says 'you sad, sad person'.

shakes his head. Ah, that's probably confusing...! "N-no, I know how to ride." Not that he did it terribly often, although maybe he should.

sighs in relief. "Oh good. I wasn't sure." Gets to a bike shop. Buys two new bikes. Gives one to Liet.

balks. "T-that's...! You didn't have to buy me one..." It does look nice though. "R-really, I could have paid for myself, o-or rented one

or something."

"It's fine! Come on, let's just ride already!" Concept of how to spend money? What's that?

hesitates. "C-could I at least pay you for it?" Oh, perhaps he's assuming too much, thinking that Denmark is giving it to him...

blinks. "... why?" Hops on his own brand new bike.

gets on...uh, well, his bike? "O-oh, sorry, I just assumed this bike was, ah, for me..." Which was silly, why did he do that?

laughs. "It is. Come on." Starts peddling away.

hurriedly pedals after him, wobbling a little as he adjusts the gears. "Ah, but then...! P-please, it's too expensive for a gift..."

"I don't see the problem." Pauses. "If you're so concerned, you can pay for the beer later." Good deal, right?

"I...that's..." He sighs and hangs his head. "O-only if you insist." And then he'll have to figure out some other way to compensate him.

probably won't let him. Now, the bike paths in Denmark are rather extensive and are for BIKES ONLY. No runners. Points out some sites as

they go.

still feels uneasy about taking the bike, but recognizes that it's time to drop the issue. He listens attentively, occasionally asking a

polite question or two.

yells at a couple of people trying to walk on the bike paths. "Fucking tourists!"

swerves a little, surprised by the yelling. "Ah...there's no need to yell, is there? It...it's not their fault they don't know..."

"They're marked as BIKE paths." Grumble grumble. Tourists. Ugh.

smiles. "Ah...I suppose that's true..." It would be a little hypocritical of him to argue otherwise.

pulls off of the path and comes to a stop. "See, I know you appreciate that the bike paths are supposed to be for bikes."

Grins. "I heard about what your one mayor did." Likes that guy.

blushes a little. "W-well, perhaps that wasn't the best way to make his point..." Surprisingly effective, however.

"I think it was the perfect way. It shows people he means business." Grins.

did think it was pretty funny...but he still felt bad about that guy's car. He laughs a little. "I'm not even sure where he found the tank."

snickers. "Does it matter? Oh, hey, there's a good bar over here."

slows to a stop. "Ah, alright." He's already planning to not drink too much, especially if they'd be getting back on the bikes. Who knows if

that resolve will last, though.

dismounts and locks his bike up next to the bar. Offers a bike lock to Liet too before stepping inside and grinning.

locks his bike as well, frowning a little since he doesn't know the code. He follows Denmark into the bar. ""Ah...j-just remember this is

on me, okay?"

already managed to order a couple of drinks and is holding one out to Liet. "Huh? Oh, right, right. No biggy."

(...oh, ffs...) accepts the drink with a smile and a 'thank you'. "R-really, it's the least I can do to pay you back..."

"Pay me back for what?" Sets in on finishing his drink as quickly as possible.

copies him, albeit at a slower pace. "W-well, ah, the bike..." At if he continues at that rate, perhaps it will be an even trade.

sets his empty glass down. "... oh right! ... that wasn't a big deal, really. Don't worry about it." Sits himself down.

nods, mostly placated. Sits beside him and continues to drink his first beer. It's a little different from what he usually has,

but he likes it. "Ah, so...how have you been? Um...besides the tourist..."

"Tourist? Oh, right, that guy. Good! Been bored, but... meh." Starts in on his second beer.

hms in agreement. "Ah, it's been quiet at my place too." Though he suspects he's happier about that than Denmark is.

Probably. Denmark just likes to DO things. "Hey, hey. You're not drinking fast enough."

blinks. "Ah, s-sorry..." He takes a long drink, before it occurs to him that he didn't have to drink fast if he didn't want to... Ah...

grins. "Better!" Slaps him on the back a little.

By which I mean, slaps him good.

jerks forward, sloshing his beer. "A-ah!" He recognizes that it was a friendly gesture, so he smiles, but it's a little pained. "Thanks..."

dooooesn't notice. He's a tiny bit dense. Finishes off his second beer. "You know, drinking is almost as fun as biking..."

mishears that. "Ah, you really shouldn't do those at the same time..." It's very safe. Actually, how would you even hold the beer?

laughs. "Why not? It's fun." He's done it before. OTL

blinks. "How would it even work?" Wait, no, he's supposed to be disapproving. Ah...well. He's tired of being the responsible one.

grins and leans in. "Beer hat." Taps his head. "Smart thinking, right?"

still isn't quite picturing it. "...in your hat?" What kind of hat would hold beer?

"You know... um..." Gestures vaguely. "It's like... a helmet... with beer cans and straws..."

tilts his head. Okay, it makes a bit more sense now. "Ah, so...your hands are free." He nods, that is rather ingenious.

"Yeah, exactly! It's pretty amazing." Hmms and drinks more.
