today we talked about occupy wall street for an hour and a half in my 1960s class and i just sat there the entire time being awkward
like i honestly cannot form an opinion on whether or not i think it's a good thing
or an effective thing
or the 'civil rights movement of our time' or something like that
there's an Occupy Dallas coming up... people were talking about it and i'm like ?___?
a part of me wants to go for a few hours while i'm home because education is part of the umbrella
but like
it's part of a massive umbrella of really important issues that shouldn't be under an umbrella
it makes it so easy to appear and just be all WE ARE PART OF THE 99% and not know what you are protesting

it was started by 2 guys here to protest the education cuts

it was going to say "DON'T MESS WITH TEXAS TEACHERS AND DON'T MESS WITH MY EDUCATION" on the back
and then on the front "SCHOOLS ARE PART OF THE 99%"
i will buy that shirt
