i think i'm going to get a loan to pay off my credit card. this paying it back thing doesn't really work for me.

i did that, it was the best thing i did. lower interest rate = able to pay it off sooner!

ya, we did that after moving interstate, cos it built up kinda too fast. Muchos less interest.

trying to work out my budget. it's not a big debt, could easily pay it off within a year.

we tried to get a loan to pay ours but it was refused, so the debt just mounts...hate it.

why it was refused? I've got one before when i was earning much less, so it should be fine.

Have you considered using one of the 0% balance transfer options available from some financial institutions?

They are a good deal if you can be responsible and just use the second card to pay off the debt at a low interest rate.

yeah, i did consider it but i don't trust myself to pay it off. would rather do it in one big swoop, then just get a really low limit.
