just washing the table, lost in thought.

finally found him and paused in the doorway, her hands clasped in front of herself. "Aloys?"

looks as soon as his name being said registers in his mind. "Oh! Hoi Mitzi~!"

smiles a bit at the greeting, "sorry I haven't been around much lately."

walks over to her. "That's okay, I understand." He was a little antsy, but he was mostly just happy she was here now.

nods a bit as she watched him for a moment, she unclasped her hands and moved to hug him.

a little surprised but hugged her back. He didn't want to interrupt the moment as much as he wanted to ask questions.

pulled back after a moment and smiled a bit more. "Ah I've thought about what we talked about." She nodded, "while I was working."

looks at her nervously. "A-ah, you did? S-so... what umm what do you think?" He wondered if he should take the smile as a hint...

shifted a bit as she moved to comb her fingers through her hair, her expression turning thoughtful. "I really like you Aloys as I said

before you're the only one I really enjoy being around." She had to think of how to word it still.

nodded... he didn't want to jump to any conclusions. "R-right, together forever no matter what..." his tone was shaky.

nods and smiles at that, "of course. That's why I want to make it work."

tilts his head. "It...?"

paused for a second as she thought of how to reword that, it did sound weird didn't it? "Ah... I mean..." she hesitated slightly before she

pulled him close and kissed him lightly on the cheek. "I never quite saw you as a brother to be honest."

smiled again. "You make me feel luckier and luckier every time we're together."

flushed a bit at that as she looked up at him, pursing her lips lightly. "I'm not sure what you mean by that."

gets worried. "U-uh I just meant that um... I'm really happy right now but that I've always been happy with you..."

laughed a bit at that before she hugged him again lightly. "Ah... I'm happy with you too. So don't get so worried..."

nodded and hugged her back. "I'll try not to."

content with this and glad she'd finally managed to give him an answer. "You know I love you right Aloys?"

"Mhm! I love you too, Mitzi." He couldn't think of anything that would make this moment better.

"That's what makes us so special~"

smiled at that as she moved to hold his hand lightly. "Hmm... that you're the only person I can say that to?"

that's close enough. "Ja, we're a set."

holds her hand back.

smiles again as she nodded, "well what would you like to do today?"

about it. "How much time do we have?"

about it for a moment before shrugging. "All day, I don't have any work to do."

some more then. "Umm what about.. hiking?"

pauses at that before she nodded, "sure." She hadn't been hiking in a while.

hasn't either, he thought it might be an interesting change of pace. "Should we pack some things for the trip?"

nods as she let go of his hand, "sure. I'll go get two bags."

"Okay, I'll see what we have."

headed up to her room to fetch two backpacks, it didn't take her long to find them.

moved to the pantry and looked around from some food choices that would be good for a hike. He set what he found on the counter.

came back down with the bags and handed him one. "Here you go!"

smiles at her and takes it. "Thank you. How much do you think we should take?"

pauses to think about it before she shrugged a bit, "I just want water."

about that. "Okay," he nods.

smiles a bit at that before she went to pack him some food.

prepares some bottles.

paused to glance over at him as she finished. "Aloys..." she wasn't to sure what she wanted to say though.
