I though American kids don't have homework until middle school

我也以為小學也都是在玩

compare with Chinese, their homework is nothing.

silverblue: 我也一直這樣以為 不過看了他們的課程表之後 發現也是有在學東西拉 早上開始就是數學 然後handwriting, social study, science.每個星期五有spelling test

不過跟台灣的比起來 實在是輕鬆多了！想想我們小時候每天都要寫一堆生字 還有數學練習.

呴 嘴巴這麼甜！！ 不要戲弄中年婦女拉！！

這裡沒有中文班 只好靠媽媽我自己練功了。雖然進度緩慢 但聊勝於無阿

My days in Malaysia were English in the morning, Mandarin in the afternoon. It was a torture, but now I'm thankful.

It might be easier for u to use those books so that you don't need to come up with materials yourself.

princesshikaru: thanks for your suggestion. The reason why I don't follow TW elementary curriculum right now is because Abner is really

tired after school. So I only let him read one page of chinese story book and write two new words everyday
