cleaning up the house when she stumbled across a certain shirt. Frowning, she picked it up. That idiot left without it? Ugh, what_
goes through his head she wondered. She carefully folded it and set it on the table. She stared at it awkwardly for a moment. "Should I..._
return it?" She flushed at the thought of their last encounter and quickly shooed the thought from her mind. She didn't want to be_
actually having fun peeking in through this little window, and from it, he sees a blur of movement inside. The figure, however, is a little
too far for him to have a real good glimpse off, and he pouts a little. So much for spying. With a sigh, he walks on over to the front
door, ringing the doorbell once and knocking twice. This should end well.
jumps in surprise. "A-Ah! Coming!" She called out, padding over to the door with her feather duster. She pulls the door open a bit and peeks
around. "Yes can I-- Y-You!!"
take that as a greeting, considering it's coming from an Angleterre. "Bonjour, ma cherie!~" He greets her with a smile. "It is I, your
favourite dream come true.~"
considered closing the door on him, but that would have been rude even for her. "...Where do you come up with this stuff? Anyway, I was_
just thinking of you. It's good you came, you left your shirt here idiot."
perks up at that last bit. "You were thinking of me? I am so flattered!~" He now reveals what is in his hand that he had hidden behind his
back, and presents her with a bouquet of - "English roses!~ I know you're picky about normal roses, so I hope this is fine, oui?"
hardly expecting such a gift. She stares at them for a moment, admiring their beauty before looking up to him. "...Ah...You...You didn't_
"Of course I did.~ But I know you'll repay me for them later," he adds with a suggestive wink. "May I?" He'd rather wait inside, that is.
narrows her eyes at him a little before opening the door. "It is a bit messy right now. I was cleaning."
peeks inside the house to check for himself, and finds that yes, she indeed was. Speaking of her, he hadn't quite looked at her yet...
"Ma cherie..." He just stares at her, as he looks her up and down. Definitely not bad.
not so sure she likes the way he was looking at her. "What?"
"Tu es très belle," he says simply.
wished she had better control over her emotions. She could have hid the fact that she understood what he said. Instead she blushed and tried
to deny she understood it anyway. "Speak E-English if you want me to know what you said."
smirks, knowing full well that her blush has already given her away, but he'll play her little game. It was all in the fun, after all. He
takes a step towards her, his finger reaching out towards her chin as he raises it up gently, moving his face close to her. "I said,
you are very beautiful, ma Angleterre.~"
him the weirdest flustered look. She wasn't used to these compliments. It was nice and made her feel awkward all in one. "You weren't_
supposed to repeat it...idiot."
moves his face even closer, his lips tickling her ear. "You told me to say it in English, non? Then it is your fault I repeated myself.
Could it be you want me to say it again?" He pauses for dramatic effect. "You are so very beautiful.~ This body definitely suits you more."
shivered and shoved him back finally. "Don't get so close, damn it! No one said you could touch me." Oh yes, back to being tsundere. It was_
just easier to cope with the embarrassment this way.
chuckles a bit and lets her do as she pleases. Of course.~ It wouldn't be fun if he won all the points, after all. "Oui, but at the end of
the day, we will be even closer." He shrugs at that, peeking in the house again. "May I come in now, mademoiselle?"
stands aside for him to come in. "I don't know what nonsense you're spouting, but hurry up."
toddles on in, setting the flowers on top of the entrance desk. Scuffing his shoes, he enters, scanning the very... bland decor of it all.
"Are you alone today? Where is the other Angleterre?"
takes the flowers. She would put them in water. "Ah? Yeah, he's probably with America. I have the house to myself a lot these days."
quirks an eyebrow at this new fact... he would file that away for future use. "Is that so...? And how are you faring with that?" He means
the being alone part, of course.
blinks at him. "It's fine. It's like I am living at home in my own world. Except I live in the guest room."
nods. How very... considerate of a certain Englishman. "I see." He pauses, looking around the just slightly unkempt house. "Are you ready
talked him into it. "E-Eh!? You want to go now?" She was in her cleaning clothes!
would think you deserve better. "Yes... I want to go now." He looks at her a little confused. "Is there something else you needed to do?"
stares at him. "I...was not expecting to go anywhere. I am filthy."
blinks back. "But it is a date, oui? How are we to have a date in your own house?"
him a strange look. "Would you mind waiting down here for a bit?"
about it for a second. "I... would actually. Maybe I should accompany you upstairs and clean you up?~"
moves to the stairs and stops to look back at him. "Come up these stairs and I'll make sure you won't remember anything but your fear."
shudders at the venom. Urgh, yes, no mistaking her now. Nodding in defeat, he lounges back into the kitchen, amusing himself with a pcutre
picture* of a green bunny with wings. It looked oddly familiar...
disappears upstairs to shower and change. She comes back down in her usual dress, and hair pulled up into pigtails instead of the bun she_
sporting when she was cleaning. "Ah...Well, I am ready now."
stares for a second at the blunt disregard for make-up and all sorts of potentially time-consuming things that females usually do, but
she ignored. Shaking his head, he pulls out a phone and checks the agenda for the day. "Let's go! For today, you are ma petite amie,
so try and enjoy yourself. Oui?"
didn't see a reason to bother with all that stuff. She could have, but then she would have kept him waiting longer. "...I'll try." But she_
making no promises! She would, undoubtedly though.
very much likes the au naturale look. Smiling at her, he proceeds to twine his hand in hers, leading them out the door and towards a waiting
cab. The first stop: a quick trip to some select shops in the mall.~
gasps as she feels his hand in hers and stumbles a bit as he begins to walk. "H-Hey!" You mean they had to hold hands in...p-public?
looks down at you, comforting. "Yes? Is there a problem?" He opens the door to the cab and allows her in first.
highly embarrassed. She decides to just get in the cab, wondering what she got herself into. "No...nevermind."
pleased with the lack of rejection, and he enters the vehicle on the opposite side, telling the driver where to go. "Now, ma cherie, since
you have not been on a date yet -" he chuckles, "-allow me to have free reign on this one, oui?"
looks at him from the corner of her eye. "I've been on dates before! I...suppose though. So long as it's...reasonable."
decides to humour her. "And what, pray tell, falls under the jurisdiction of "reasonable:?
he should know. Then again, this was France. "Nothing embarrassing. Or that requires taking off clothes."
pretends to look offended. "What does that mean? I feel a bit shocked that you'd imply that all my dates end up clotheless!" Well, most
of them did, but that was beside the point.
snorts at that. "You know exactly what it means!"
shakes his head, pretending to play dumb. "Non, I do not. Please be more specific, am cherie.~"
folds her hands in her lap. "I'm not going to play your game."
"Well, you see," he inches closer to her. "if you won't "play the game", as you so put it, then I won't know what not to do. Are you
perfectly fine with that?~"
turns to him, looking speechless for a moment. "ah...fine! I meant... don't get too friendly with me."
blinks, unleashing that hurt pout he's perfected for a while. "Too... friendly? But Angleterre... if you are ma petit amie for the day,
I should be able to, non? >: "
it reminds her too much Marianne. "but it is just for a day"
pouts a little. "Do you have so much faith in me? Who knows, it might be for more~ c: "
looks out her window. "I doubt it." After all, he probably was wooing all the new nations.
only tried to woo one, thank you very much, and that ended quite badly. "Aw, you hurt my feelings, Angleterre.~ Won't you give me a
does not know that, but she would have been curious about who. "....Call me Ann. Arthur is your England." she changed the topic.
would think she'd be curious, too. "Oui, but you're both Angleterre, so is that not okay?" And no, he didn't miss the topic change. "Or
would you prefer another nickname?~"
not sure she would like another nickname from him. "It will be confusing if you call us both that. Just Ann is fine."
not really go for that, so he thinks for a bit. "Ann... ah..." Something similar but also different. He snaps his fingers. "Angel,
perhaps?~ For you look like one to moi."
why he can't be normal and call her Annie or something. "You must be joking."
smiles a bit, amused. "Non. You did not outright refuse it, so I will assume you like it... Angel.~" The cab slows down, and the figure of
the mall becomes visible. "Ah, shall we?" With that, he moves out his door to open hers, his hand eagerly awaiting to pull her out.
huffs at him! "I did refuse it. It's ridiculous." She takes his hand regardless and steps out as a lady should.
pulls her up before intertwining their fingers together. "You did not say those words before, therefore it is null and void." He leads her
inside, the cool air inside surprising him for a moment. "Is there anywhere in particular you'd like to go first, or will you be leaving
completely embarrassed that she has to hold his hand. "I did! And...is there a magic shop?"
finds her lack of protest to the touch an improvement, and he moves just a little bit closer. Her request, however, throws him. "Ah... what
sort... of magic shop?" Yes... definitely Angleterre.
figures he would just complain if she didn't hold it anyway! "Yes, a magic shop. I need some newt's eye."
the lady doth protest too much. "... Alright... I'll see what I can do..." He leads them forward to the map. "What exactly would you need
excited about the prospect of finding a magic shop and therefore isn;t so concerned with their PDA. "Potions of course!"
"..." Well... that was really his mistake asking her. He should have known better. Ah... "And what potion would you be making, exactly?"
grins up at him. "You really want to know?"
somewhat confused and wary about that grin, but he indulges her. "Ah... oui?"
hums, deciding to tease him a bit. "Secret."
chuckles, shaking his head. "Oh...? Angel is going to beat me at my own game? I would think not." He pulls her closer through their
intertwined fingers. "Tell me?~"
squeaks a bit at being yanked closer. "No way!"
blinks, before looking thoughtful. "Will you really play this game with me?"
looks away shrugging. She had an amused face on though. "Perhaps."
"Oh, really?" He stays where he is behind her, contemplating on how he could make her talk, keeping his silence. And he waits.
blinks at the lack of speaking, turning to glance back at him. "France?"
try... that method first. The silent treatment. Saying nothing more, he pulls her along gently to the side after securing a map of the
mall, looking at it while dutifully ignoring her.
watching him with knitted brows. "France?" She tries again.
keeping the neutral expression on his face, completely absorbed in the same picture about four times. Still no answer.
scowls at him and hits him in the side. "I said FRANCE!"
takes the blow with a small grimace of pain, before he quickly recomposes his face. Inwardly, he is très amused.
does not like being ignored. He was going to start a fight this way. She yanks her hand away from him.
blinks a bit, but was actually waiting for that. He shrugs as though he doesn't care, now using the free hand to flip the paper in front of
him. Hm, maybe a visit to Indigo...
stomps on his foot with her heel before turning to leave with a huff.
actually gotten into the map, and he finds that... there is a magic store? "Sérieusement?" He finally says, but he's still looking at
the map and not paying much attention to the retreating figure... and of course, wincing at the pain. How abusive...
all ready close to the door and not looking back. Maybe she was an idiot to think it might work out. She knew she would just end up losing_
her temper like she always does.
blinks up, almost having forgotten in his surprise at the fact that there is a blasted magic store in the mall. He thinks it's about time,
so he sidles up to her in a few quick steps, before intertwining their fingers again. "And where do you think you're going, ma cherie?"
thought she was home free the moment her hand was on the door. She was wrong. She huffs at him, giving him a displeased look. "Home."
"Ah..." He pulls her back gently, a sad look on his face. "It is because you are so stubborn, ma cherie.~ Calm down, s'il vous plait?"
stumbles towards him again when he pulls. "Oh please, don't pull that on me. You're every bit as stubborn."
chuckles a bit at this and pulls her along again, so she's right in front of him, just a few centimetres away. "Oui... but perhaps this is
why I will be good for you, non?" He winks.
stumbling at his pulling since she's trying to drag her feet. "You have strange delusions, don't you think?" Or he was just a masochist.
"Non, not delusions. Ah... desires, maybe." He pauses, before adding a little more seriously. "Wishes... perhaps." He blinks then smiles at
her, erasing the odd look on his face from before.
trying not to look a bit stunned by his words. She looks away, a little pink cheeked. She didn't understand him at all. Was he just_
teasing her or what? "Where are we going?"
glad that the Angleterre in her is a little dense, because he almost blew his cover there. He tilts his head. "Oui... I thought you wanted
to go to the magic shop? Apparently there's one on the third floor." ... Which he still can't believe. Ugh. England was weird.
's eyes seem to shine at this. "Are you serious?"
"Vraiment." He smiles at her reaction, unconsciously pulling her close again. "I would have not thought it possible myself..." He leads them
to the escalator, and clicks three.
seems really excited now. All anger was forgotten. She pressed herself to the glass, looking out at the mall as they went up with childish_
excitement. "I never come here, so I had no idea."
"Then it is a good thing you have now, oui?" He stands back a bit, eyeing her from the back, keeping his silence. He likes it when
she's happy, since she always seems to be so... angry all the time. He smiles subconsciously as he stares.
just generally a grumpy person. She turns to smile back at him. "Ah...Yeah! I hope they have some good stuff."
's eyes twinkle when he sees a genuine smile from you, and he stares at you for a few more seconds, feeling sad for some reason... before
he blinks and looks away, not making eye contact. "I bet they will. It is your home country after all oui?"
a bit confused by his action. "Ah...well this is true." She pauses. "Are you all right?"
makes a brittle smile, but looks away. "Ah, oui, of course. Why would I not be?"
moves over to stand in front of him. She stares at him a moment before reaching up to cup his cheeks with her hands. A tender moment, before
she squishes them together and makes a face. "Because you're smiling isn't reaching your eyes."
starts at the contact, something he usually initiates. The action causes him to look down at her, and he narrows his eyes for a second
at her observation. "Oui... je suis desolee... I shall try harder?"
removes her hands and shrugs. "Doesn't matter. If you're hiding something, then that's your choice. I just thought I would give you a_
chance to talk about it if you wanted to unload. The least I could do anyway."
"Oh?" He raises an eyebrow at this, taking her hand and pulling her into an embrace. "Is ma cherie offering to lend me her shoulder?~" His
tone is playful, but because of this position, she can't see the genuine smile on his face at the gesture.
gasped at that, getting a face full of his chest being so short. "H-Hey! I-I didn't say we could do something this embarrassing!" But yes, _
she had offered her shoulder in her own way.
"It's alright. This is fine..." He closes his eyes and sighs, burrowing his face in her hair, staying that way for a few moments before he
tilts her chin up, placing a quick kiss on her forehead. "Merci beaucoup, ma cherie." He gives her a genuine smile, before the pulls her out
of the elevator. "Now then, magic shop, is it?~"
highly embarrassed and confused by his actions, but she decides to just hide it and bear it. Besides, it wasn't...so bad. He was _
surprisingly warm and it was comforting in a way. She looked up when he spoke, but squeezed her eyes shut when he kissed her forehead. Oh_
yeah, she was definitely embarrassed. It was bad enough that they were in public! "Y-Yes. Please, by all means...let's go." She follows, _
trying to put the embarrassment from her mind. Trying to forget that she might have kind of enjoyed it.
the blush on her face, and he commits it to memory, chuckling softly as he does. He feels more like himself again, which is a good thing too
because when they arrive in front of the store, all semblance of normalcy is gone from the world as he stares at a giant... witch hat,
drilled through in the middle as the entrance of the store. He hesitates. "A-ah... Are you sure about this, ma cherie...?"
didn't hear him. She practically ran inside the store, looking around with a childish delight. "Oh!! This is fantastic!"
blinks, then laughs softly, hurrying up behind her and taking her hand again. "Don't want you getting lost now, do we?~" He looks around at
the displays... and shudders a bit. This was going to be a long day.
in the middle of reaching for something when he took her hand. She glanced back at him, trying to figure out how to pick it up one handed. _
ponders on that thought, before reaching over and assisting her in taking it down. "Well, maybe I lied." He chuckles. "What I mean is, I
don't want anyone else taking you away from me, oui?~" There is an edge in his voice, but he keeps it as hidden as possible.
looks to him for a moment. The edge hadn't gone unnoticed, but she didn't understand it either. "Ha. No one comes to see me. I think you're_
looks at the item, confused at just what the heck it was supposed to be, and decides that if he wants to stay sane, he won't ask. "There
you are again, Angel.~ Always so down on yourself. But non," he shakes his head. "I meant that there are some more of my own gender
looking at you. I do not want them to take you away... is what I mean.~"
just grabbed some puppy tails. That's all. "E-Eh? Surely you are mistaken or just very paranoid.'
"Perhaps." If she can't see the guy down the aisle looking, then that's just fine with him. He casts the other a warning look, however,
involuntarily moving closer to her. He seems to get the message and moves on, which makes him sigh in relief. "So, you never told me. What
it your planning on making?"
oblivious to the intentions of men for the most part. She was used to women. "Hm? Oh! Just a little something to help my garden."
tilts his head, interested in the normalcy of that answer. "Is that so...? Then why not just buy fertilizer?" Or something more normal.
And for the most part he is glad she's oblivious.
taking a few more things. "Because I am trying to lure fairies! They have to have a certain kind of flower."
... humour her. Yes. Because he's not in the mood to get into a fight about existence or lack thereof. "And why are you luring fairies?"
He stares at the items in her hand. "Shall we get a basket?"
her arms full. She nods to his words. "Because having a fairy garden has lot's of perks you know."
allows himself to move from her to grab a basket, which he offers out for her to put the items in. "And what would those perks be, exactly?"
puts them in the basket and continues her shopping. "They help make the garden more beautiful and they keep me company."
holds the basket, grimacing internally at the contents. Was that... a floating... eye? Ugh. "While I agree with the first option, I do
believe it's called calling a professional to keep a garden. As for the second," he pauses, "I will be more than glad to keep you company...
and more," he adds, intending that double meaning.
shakes her head! "There's no meaning to a garden if you don't love it and raise it with love!" She paused at his second words. "Now, I am
sure that you are busy yourself. You can't mean to tell me you'll drop things just to be with me. It's fine though, I have friends~"
agrees. This is true; he does have his own garden, after all... only with a lack of magical creatures. "Then I suppose... your reasoning
plausible," he adds in. "Oui, I am busy sometimes. There is not much for me to do, so keeping you company will not be out of my way.
Besides, if ma cherie needs me, I will drop things just to be with her." He hums and plays with a lock of her hair. "Do not hesitate
to call me if you are lonely, oui? I will be around.~"
he won't stop surprising her. She really wonders why he is being so nice to her, she didn't quite understand. It was a foreign feeling_
and she vaguely she wondered if her and Marianne ever got along this well. She wondered if France got along with England this well or was _
it different because they weren't from the same world. Her brows knitted together before she realized it. She wasn't sure she liked being_
this uncertain about things, especially not around him. It made her unsure. Deciding not to tempt into the conversation further, she_
turned her attention to her basket. "I just need some frog's tongue."
waiting for her to reply to his comment, but instead finds himself met with silence. He does, however, see the frown on her face - a very
familiar gesture done by Angleterre when deep in thought - and he wonders what she could be thinking about. Before he could ask, she's c
changed* the subject, and looks down at the basket and nods. "Uh... oui. Do you know which aisle?"
looks around. "I believe it should be down isle four. Shall we?"
nods and follows behind her. "Is this the last thing you'll be needing then?"
nods to him. "Yeah! Though this shop does have some good products. I will have to come back."
"Very well." He searches the aisle, finding anything that looks like a tongue... and shudders when he finds it on the highest shelf, one he
can just barely reach. "Uh..." He points up. "Is that what you're looking for?"
squints at what he is pointing too before nodding. "Ah! Yes!" Suddenly, she laughed at the irony. The frog was grabbing the frogs tongue.
blinks. "What is so funny?" Did he have something on his face?
giggles to herself before finally quipping. "Oh nothing, I was just thinking I wouldn't need that if you offered yours to me instead."
finds that a tad bit offensive, and he scoffs as he turns away, slowly walking down the aisle. "That hurt my feelings, ma cherie." He says
in a mock pout. "Now good luck in getting your tongue - if you can reach it."
watches him go, her eyes shining in amusement. "You took that too literally, there's more than one way to offer it you know!" Ah yes, she_
a pervert at heart, though she wouldn't admit that. She turned instead to try and get the item.
freezes at the implication, chuckling. Well, well, he'd keep that in mind for later. He shakes his head and rounds the corner, peeking
silently over to see just how she was planning on grabbing it... if she was able to.
standing on her tip toes, trying to grab it with the tips of her fingers. She was a terribly short girl though. It was not working out too_
chuckles at her attempt, and leans against the corner of the shelf, making himself more visible now, but pretending as though he didn't
care. Her attempts to reach it were really quite... cute, too.
pauses in her attempt when she sees him. She doesn't ask for his help though, instead she sticks out her tongue at him and resumes.
sighs and shakes his head at her childishness, glancing at his watch and mentally counting down her breaking point. What he doesn't notice,
however, is the shelf shaking slightly from all her attempts.
finally managed to work the bottle to the edge, however due to the shaking it comes crashing down and clonks her on the head.
hears a crash, and instantly whips his head around to survey what just... Merde. Running over to her and forgetting about the basket, he
kneels down next to her, glancing at the broken glass everywhere... before looking at her. There is a tint of red on her forehead... "Ann!
a bit dazed, though she feels the blood trickle down her forehead. "O...Ow...That hurts..."
"Wait, donne-moi un moment." He looks around in a panic for somewhere for her to sit, and finds a chair a few feet away. He leaves her alone
for a second and returns with it, gently pushing her down to sit. "Let.. let me see, ma cherie." He leans down and surveys the damage; he
can't tell where the bleeding is coming from, only that there is blood. Something to stop the bleeding! He looks around for some sort of
cloth, before he stares at some of the extensions on his coat... Damn it. Biting his lip and pulling a section off, he places it on her head
and pushes softly. "Ann...?"
groans a bit at being moved, but aside from the bleeding she didn't seem to be so worse for wear. "O-Ouch! Be more careful, damn it! That_
can't quite comply with that request, because if he releases the pressure, it will just start bleeding. Her words, however, cause a spark
of irritation in him. "Vous stupides, fille têtue!" He doesn't care that he's speaking in his native tongue. "This wouldn't have happened
if you just asked for help!"
flinches at his words. Both from the meaning and how loud they were said. He should have known by now England's don't ask for help! "If you_
don't want to help me, then that's fine! I can do things by myself!"
now glaring at her. Yes, he knows that, but it doesn't mean they shouldn't! "I didn't say I didn't want to help! Is it so hard to ask
for help?! Dieu! Tu agis comme un gamin!" He breathes, now more than a little frustrated.
looks a little stunned, though none of that other stuff registered. "I do not act like a kid!!" Oh, perhaps she did. But she was still_
now really irritated. "Ok, vous savez quoi? Faites ce que vous voulez! I am not your babysitter, but I already told you that you could
count on me! Is it so hard to swallow your pride and just ask?" He grits his teeth at her stubbornness, and decides she probably isn't going
to change her mind. Taking her free hand, he replaces his own that was holding the cloth. With a huff, he stands and picks up the forgotten
basket, placing it close to her before walking away. "Just let me know when you've learned to be more responsible!"
reaches out to grab his coat. She looked a bit upset now. She didn't want him to be angry, but at the very least... "Leave your coat."
to just go home now and drink some wine to cool off a bit, when he feels a tug on his coat. He turns around, surprised - and still angry,
not looking directly at him, but she still has his coat in her hand. "L-Leave your coat with me...I'll fix it."
blinks, still feeling a bit angry, although some of that seems to have deflated. He decides to play dumb. "What are you talking about? My
looks up now, still pretending to act tough and not cry at the pain or being bothered by his anger. "I'll make it better than new! Just
then makes eye contact, and it is those eyes that allow him to see what she's thinking, or at least guess, and he knows he's hurt her... His
expression melts. "Ann... It's fine. My coat is fine. Just... take care of yourself." His tone is flat, because even if he's calmed down
a bit, he's still torn between angry and relieved.
shakes her head. "I still want to fix it. It's a good coat and clothes shouldn't be wasted. I'll take care of myself too."
sighs now, exasperated. He realizes this is the closest thing he can get to making her see reason, and he reluctantly takes off his coat and
hands it to her. But he then bends down and takes her hand away, placing pressure on the bleeding. "Ann, look at me. Are you alright?"
winces a bit when he does that, but smiles a little cheekily. "Ah, this? This is nothing! I'll be just fine. I've taken worse beatings_
from Marianne, this little ol' bump won't bring me down."
's negative energy drains completely when he sees that smile, and he sighs resignedly. "... Marianne? My female counterpart...?" He frowns.
"She beats you?" Okay, maybe he did that in the past, too, but nowadays it was relatively calmer with Angleterre. "That's not... very nice."
shakes her head. She was living in the past. "We get along all right these days I suppose."
"Mm..." He nods absent-mindedly, lifting the cloth and looking at the bump... yes, it was just a bump, so there's no huge wounds or
anything. "Well then, petit crétin, do you want to go home now?" He's a little sad at the prospect at their date being cut short, and this
sadness carries on in his words... but he supposes it wouldn't be any good if she had some sort of concussion and started walking around...
silent for a moment. "Only if you're still mad at me."
blinks. Did she really ask for what he thought? He sighs and kneels right next to her. "Do you think I am?"
looks over to him. "I...don't know."
makes eye contact with her and muses. "Do you still want me to be?"
smiles. "Then I won't be." He reaches over and cradles her head on his shoulder for a few seconds, before sighing. "You really are a
reckless character, aren't you? Next time, ask, alright?"
just likes to be independant. She didn't want to be a burden. She allows him to do that though, nodding a little. "I'll...try..." It was_
"Good." He's satisfied with that, and he begins to look around at the mess. "Ah..." He rubs his head, wondering what to do now. The owner,
he assumes, approaches, and he mumbles his apologies, telling him that he accidentally dropped the jar and that he'll pay for it. The owner
goes to call maintenance, and he glances back at the female to make sure she hadn't gone anywhere. He then picks up the basket. "Do you
not moved, but is instead rummaging in her purse for her wallet. She had enough to pay for that and the stuff she wanted right? Yeah. She_
did. That was a relief at least. She finally stood up and picked up the basket too. "I do."
"Don't push yourself." He takes the basket from her hand and proceeds to the counter, discarding the items. He'll let her pay, since it's
the very least she could do. "Are you sure you don't need to sit down...? Or ice, even?"
doesn't mind paying at all and happily will have a good stash of frog's tongue now. "Ah...well, we could eat dinner or something?" She could
shines a smile at her direction. "Oui!" A little too much enthusiasm there. "Angel still wants to spend the day with moi, then?~"
flushes a bit. "Well, I did promise."
"Very well, then.~" After all, he wasn't one to deny a woman what they wanted. He takes the bags once they're packed, before glancing at
his watch. Yes, about time for dinner. Oh, that reminds him! "Do you still have my coat? That was quite expensive, you know. If you lose it,
I'll make you... pay for it.~"
holding onto the said coat like it was something dear. If he didn't watch it, she would just keep it. "I have it. It'll be fine. I won't_
He chuckles, then leaves the restaurant, apologizing once more to the owner. "Well then, is there somewhere you prefer, or do I get to
bad about that whole ordeal inside. "Anywhere you like, is fine for today."
"Mmm, then I shall take you to my favourite restaurant, and you will eat French, oui?"~ He walks outside, hailing another cab, and taps
if that requires going to France... "At your place?"
shakes his head. "Ah, non. Actually, you do have some decent French restaurants here." He smirks. "You must really miss me being around
if you'll allow them to be built at your place.~"
puffs out her cheeks at that. "Like I could keep you away!"
"Aw, how sweet.~" He'll take that as a compliment, twisting it in his head as a taxi finally stops. He stows the bags in the trunk and

the easier atmosphere between the two. But he also keeps his distance from you, although he doesn't quite know... why.

blinks. "... Really." For some reason, he sounds resigned; this is the second time the date had threatened to stop, and if you had just
said so earlier, he would have. He looks away now, unable to make eye contact due to the fact that... he's not sure what's on his face right
now, and just nods. "Oui, ma princesse. Whatever you want."
quiet for a moment. "We both went through a lot today I think." She goes quiet again for a moment, before looking over to him with a small_
smile. "Ah...but um...How do I put this...Maybe we can go out again and it won't be so disasterous."

grim smile at the corner of his face, but somehow her words... don't quite make an impact. "Oui... not so... disastrous... bien..."
can tell somethings up. She's not sure she wants to know though. Hesitantly, she speaks. "What's bugging you?"
takes a few moments before her words actually register, and he blinks profusely before he looks at you. "Ah...? Non, nothing, Angleterre.~"
He doesn't notice his slip of the tongue. "I was just thinking of our next date, oui!~"
mentally berates himself for not putting his mask on fast enough, but now he smiles more... convincingly. "Ah...?
That's rude, Angleterre.~ Don't tell me you want to plan the next one too?~"
quiet as the taxi comes to a stop. She gathers her stuff. "Listen, if you want to talk about it in the future you know where to find me_
if not, have a good day *Francis.*" She used his name. She had called him France all day. With that said, she opened the door and let
blinks for a few seconds and watches her leave, eyes downcast as she does. He... probably won't go find her, not when he now knows why he's
being like this. He waits for her to leave, and then looks back out the window and whispers, "Goodbye, mon amour."
(Well that was rather depressing OTL)
((kdhghdg you have me all curious.))
