bunch of friends do road/trail biking and are asking me to try it out. Must admit biking felt damn good last night. :-))

A decent bike would cost me around 14K plus equipment another 2K or so. Hmm.. Probly sa birthday ko nalang if ever. Mahal kasi. (thinking)

my cousin got into it. spent 150-200k in 6 months. then he lost his bike, and had to spend another 50k. hahaha.

are you doing this for exercise? or interest? will you be able to keep the interest? do this while doing wingchun? swimming?

if just for exercise, honestly i wouldn't really recommend biking, as it is can get very stressful for your back. if for interest, it will

entail a lot of time- long rides (riding in cavite/laguna/antipolo/sierra madre, where the fun's at) will always take at least half a day.

maybe try to go on a few more rides on borrowed equipment first until you get a pretty good idea of how biking really is.
