bittersweet beginning/ending?

I know it seems childish but I'm not ready to grow up

For the next five years, I'll be away from home and I'll most likely come back for about one to two weeks.

I promised my whole family that I wouldn't cry tomorrow.

BUT FOR SOME REASON THE TEARS ARE COMING.

ahh, yeah, it was the same for me. i didn't expect to cry at all and then we said bye at the steps of my dorm and all of a sudden there

were tears and it was weird ;u;

Yeah, even though this is my second year, I still can't get used to the feeling that I'm leaving home. The feeling just suddenly hits you.
