This guy is really good and really smart

He does these funny acts called Hey Ash, Whatcha' Playing (HAWP), so check out those videos as well

but the thing is is that I do agree with him on this issue

I hate Metroid and Castlevania games because it is all about backtracking

and he raises a lot of great points

a lot of people argue that they enjoy these games because they're non-linear

but the fact that you are forced to backtrack in order to gain something in order to backtrack again to gain something

... it's basically a fake non-linear game.

and please don't get me talking about LoZ or Mario games...
