I think Ford's answer is great, but perhaps you could use your explanation as a teaching tool to explain that sometimes anger

or a lot of times anger is situational. You could focus on trying to determine the root case of why a person is angry in a particular

situation.

I explained to mini-me that anger is usually secondary to another feeling and that you need to get to THAT to explain anger

Someone is scared? They get angry b/c they feel they're helpless. Someone is sad? They get angry because they feel alone.

You get the gist. Seemed to help my 8-year-old to understand
