sneaks out of Nikolaas' house and walks over towards Arthur's. She wanted to see him again even if she might not be able to stay long.

would be glad to see her again. He was hoping she had been doing alright.

glance up at his balcony and pauses before hopping up to grab a ledge and pull herself up to the balcony. "Hello."

jumps back and almost yelps. "H-hello!" He hadn't been expecting her!

smirks faintly. "You'd think you would learn to expect the unexpected."

flushes embarrassed. "Y-yes, well..." He blushed still. "I hadn't been expecting anyone." He hoped his neck was healed at this point.

raises an eyebrow. "Why so nervous?"

blinks. "Well, I just wasn't expecting you, or anyone."

nods. "Alright. Well... I just thought I'd stop by and say hello."

smiles at her. "Hello, then. Are you doing alright?"

sighs. "Been better, been worse."

nods to her. "Have you fed at all?" He was worried for her.

"Not in a while... See... My human self... found out and it takes a lot of energy to fight her."

frowns and nods at that. "Ah.. You can feed off of me, if you want."

laughs faintly. "Well, thank you."

nods to her. "Not a problem. It's easiser than just finding someone, yes?"

shrugs. "I guess."

nods a little. "How long can you stay?"

"I don't know, probably not long."

frowns, but nods. "Ah.. Alright.."

sighs. "Sorry. I just have to conserve as much energy as I can."

nods to her. "I understand, you needn't apologize."

nods to her. "Ready as I'll ever be."

laughs faintly and wraps her arms around him. "Good, I'll just have to make you wait then."

makes a face. "You're going to make sure I don't expect it, eh?" He slipped his arms around her.

shrugs. "Possibly..."

smiles a little and nods. "Fine. I can understand why. Ah.. Would you like to come in for a bit?"

nods and steps away. "That would be nice."

opens the door for her. "Come in then, please?"

smirks and steps inside. "If you insist."

steps in after her, shutting the door behind him.

glances back at him and smiles. "So what have you been up to?"

shrugs. "Nothing, I've been on holiday from work. What about you?"

frowns faintly. "As I already mentioned, my human side found out about me."

frowns a little and nods. "How did she find out about you?"

sighs. "I... spent too much time with you last time."

frowns at that."Ah.... I'm sorry then... " That was his fault then, Eh?

shakes her head. "It would have happened sooner or later..."

nods to her. "I guess so.. But still, I'm sorry."

frowns. "It's not your fault if that's what you're thinking."

blinks. "A-ah, n-no I wasn't..." He tried to make it seem like he wasn't thinking that.

sighs. "Sure." She knew he had...

sighed. "Would you like some tea?"

starts to shake her head but pauses. "Sure, that would be nice. Thanks."

smiles and nods. "Alright." He turned to the kitchen to go and start making the tea.

follows him. "I... probably won't be around much. I'll have to find a new host soon or we'll both... well, you won't see us at all."

frowns a little at that. "Really? O-oh... I hope that everything turns out alright.."

nods. "I've spent a lot of time with her and it will be hard on both of us."

nods a little. "How long have you been with her?"

"Seventy years."

looks shocked. "Wow... That's amazing. How old are you?" He wondered quietly.

shrugs. "About eighty. I was young and foolish when I possessed her and got too comfortable staying with one host."

nods. "I understand that.." He wondered how the process of switching hosts went.

had more trouble switching hosts the longer she stayed with them.

"How difficult is it? To switch?"

sighs. "Normally, not difficult at all..."

nods. "What about switching from your host now?"

frowns. "It will be much more complicated."

"Ah.. I don't want to press, but um.. what do you mean? By that?"

looks away. "I've grown used to this body and it will be hard to leave and... and she has gone seventy years without the things she needs to

live..."

nods again. "Ah.. Um.. Like?"

rolls her eyes. "Food, water, sleep all that human stuff..."

nods. "Ah.. R-right." He pulled the kettle off the stove when it boiled. "Ah, do you like milk or sugar in your tea?"

shakes her head. "Just tea is fine."

nods to her. "Alright." He poured her the tea and handed her the cup. Then making his own.

takes the cup and very slowly sips at it.

looks at her. "How is it?"

shrugs. "I can't say I'm fond of human drinks but I'm drinking it for her sake. She needs all the strength she can get, too."

nods. "Ah.. That's very true.. Isn't it?" He said quietly, taking a drink.

nods. "Yeah... I..." She pauses, almost afraid to admit it to even herself. "I want her to survive..."

smiles a little at that. "Well, that's a very good thing isn't it?" He would be shocked if she hadn't grown attached to her over the years.

frowns and looks away. "I guess." She was embarrassed by it...

can tell that. "It's nothing to be embarrassed over."

sighs. "It is for a demon like me."

frowns to her. "Well.. You've spent so many years with her, yes? It's obvious you would feel something."

growls faintly. "I've been feeding off her and was planning on killing her in the first place."

sighs faintly. "But you're not going to do that, are you?"

sighs and shakes her head slowly.

nods to her. "I will try to help in anyway... If I can..."

glances at him. "Thanks... Her human friend is trying to act as if he's being a saint and helping me as well as her... but I know he's not."

looks at her still. "What do you mean?"

rolls her eyes. "When he found out she could die... that was the only time he treated me like a human."

nods. "Oh.. I don't think that's very fair." He frowned at that.

sighs. "He even tried to claim that he was going to tell me he would be nicer to me but I was with you."

looks at her quietly for a few moments. "What doy ou mean by that..?"

"Well... he claimed he was looking for me when I was here but I don't believe him."

nods to her. "Ah.. I understand now.. I don't know, he may have, right?"

frowns. "I guess..."

sighs at the frown. "Don't look so upset.." He said quietly.

glances at him. "I'm not upset..."

nods slightly. "You're frowning though.."

laughs faintly. "What else am I supposed to do? It's not anything to smile about..."

shrugs quietly. "I'm not very sure..."

hums. "You are a very strange human."

blinks. "Why do you say that?"

laughs faintly and steps closer to him. "Being worried about a demon frowning~"

laughs a little. "Yes? Well, I'm not exactly normal."

smirks and reaches out to grab his shoulder. "That's a good thing, though."

tenses slightly. "Is it now?" He was glad that he wasn't normal.

nods and presses against him as she grows out her claws. "Most humans are just dull creatures."

stays still, noticing her claws, but staying quiet. "Most aren't like me. I've learnt that already."

nuzzles at his neck but pauses. "Just how many other demons have you met?"

about that. "You and one other.. I've also met two vampires."

frowns faintly. "I can smell them on you."

blinks at that. "Really?"

nods and starts to undo his shirt to get a better look at his neck.

gasps at that, letting her do so. The marks were now just scabs or scars.

growls under her breath. "You can fight them off, you know?"

nods. "I know.. I just don't have anything like that.. To fight them off, I mean.."

sighs. "I'll get you my knife. I don't need it." Though she would once she found a new body...

nods a little. "Y-you don't need to.. I'm alright."

raises an eyebrow. "You are?"

nods to her. "I would believe so.. I mean, I've been alright so far, yes?"

frowns. "Well, I'll still get it for you."

nods. "Alright.."

glances away. "I'll try to get it to you before I switch...."

nods at that. "Thank you very much then.."

smiles faintly. "I don't want to surprise you by walking up as someone else with a knife."

laughs at that. "That's true. I would probably be more afraid of that than any vampire or demon."

smirks. "I should pick someone and sneak up on you, see how you react..."

makes a face and shakes his head. "Let's not and say you did!" He paled a little at the thought.
