smiles. "Shouldn't you be at home? It's dangerous at night."

frowns. "It's fine, I can take care of myself."

- "I'm only saying." He bites his lip a little, not meaning to have insulted him. "I'm sorry for bothering you." He offers another-

-polite smile before continuing on his way.

blinks after him. "Wait! Ummm, do I know you?"

stops and turns to look at him. "I don't think so, no..."

frowns and blushes. "Oh, sorry to bother you...."

- "Sorry... Unless we've met before? I'm not very good with remembering names."

"Oh, I'm Ari..."

- Ari. Ari. The Austrian's eyebrows furrowed slightly in concentration. Then he shook his head. "... I don't recall..."

sighs. "Well, I'm sorry for bothering you...."

- "Er, w-we /can/ know each other, if you'd like." He smiles brightly. "Since we're here already, and all."

tilts his head a little. "What do you mean?"

chuckles. "I mean, we can be friends. Since we both mistook each other for someone we knew." He holds his hand out. "Roderich."

pauses before shaking his hand. "Ari."

smiles. "I know. You told me." He bows when he pulls his hand back. "Well, Ari. It's a pleasure to meet you."

blushes deeply. "Oh, well nice to meet you too...."

smiles. "And now, as an acquaintance, I believe I'm allowed to inform you of how dangerous it could be to remain out on the streets-

-at night."

looks away. "I'm fine... Really..."

- "Are you waiting for someone?"

frowns and shakes his head. "No, they aren't going to be here..."

blinks. "Oh, I'm sorry. A friend?"

sighs. "I... don't even know... Just, one of those feelings, you know? Thought that if I walked here I'd run into someone I knew..."

hums. "I see. I wish I could help somehow."

shrugs. "I was probably just dreaming..."

smiles. "It happens. I've had dreams like that as well."

raises an eyebrow. "Yeah?"

nods. "Very vivid." He sighs. "Too real."

tilts his head. "Of what, if you don't mind me asking..."

shrugs. "A boy. Well, not a /boy/ but he was still younger than I am."

nods slowly. "I remembered a very handsome man...." He decides to leave out the fact that the man was a vampire...

smiles. "Sounds like a pleasant dream."

glances back at him and nods slightly. "I guess..."

nods. "I should probably go, I'm going to be late for work."

frowns and nods. "Alright..."

smiles. "I'll see you, alright?" He waves before heading back the way he'd been going.

waves back and starts walking to his apartment, frowning a little to himself.
