we went to El Matador in Round Rock. Just for dinner, no movie. No outlandish PDAs, sorry.

El Matador is one of "our" restaurants. The people there recognize us and just about remember our names. I love that feeling.

that's a wonderful feeling -- can't recall any places we have that

it has to be a local restaurant and you have to go a LOT.

also, it helps to go around the same time/day so you always see the same waiter or waitress.

it also helps if the restaurant is small.
