I had mosaic tiles installed as my kitchen backsplash .. they supposed to use glue and a kind of chemical, mix them together ..

but the chemical had gone bad, the lady at the tile shop didn't know, the guy that served us all the time was sick that day coincidentally

so she gave the bad chemical to my tiler, they mixed and some chemical reaction happened.. affected all my mosaics

I chose clear type mosaics, and almost 85% of them now have black lines all over.. like really ugly..

tile shop called and apologized, the guy agreed to order the tiles and pay for labor charge on their behalf..

but we had to wait another 1-2 weeks to move in again.. sigh. but thank god at least we have someone understanding

and willing to pay for the consequences.. cause Des & I were really disappointed yesterday when we saw the finished work..

hmm... like you said, lucky they are willing to compensate.

if not... then you have to bear with the mosaic for long long time which is not good!!

all these things happen... somehow the dead lines are never met...

thankfully they are willing to do it at no extra expenses. hugs
