It had been a long day at the office and it was going to be a long night for him to finish up all the paperwork from today. Sighing audibly,
he made his way round the aisle towards to drinks. A bottle of Calpis would cheer up him a little perhaps.. As he reached for the white
bottle, his shoulder bumped into another's and their baskets crashed. "Ah, please excuse me. It was my fault.." he apologised as he drew his
basket closer to himself and looked up. A man stared down at him with a surprised look and another apology pushed past Kiku's lips at this.
placed 5 boxes of pocky sticks into the basket, checking inwardly before he moves on to the other side of the aisle. It's been awhile since
he had done some shopping on his own, and so late at night too. Pulling up his thinking face, he paused for a moment until he caught eye on
one last thing. 'Nice! And it's the last one too!' He cheered before skipping over to reach the bottle. Just before he can fist his hand
around the hard plastic, his shoulder bumped onto another person, distracting him with much annoyance to catch a glance to that person.
Dark soulless eyes stared back at him. For some reason he couldn't string out an apology or an excuse me, he just simply stared, wide-eyed.
When the man made no response, he shuffled his feet a little in discomfort. "Um..I'm very sorry.." he repeated himself, feeling increasing
*increasingly self-conscious now that the man seemed to snap out of his daze.
When he realizes he had been staring at this stranger for far too long without a word, he forced himself back in reality, smiling silly
before retracting his hand back, scratching the back of his head.
"아, 괜찮아요.." He shook his head and smiling apologetically. 'Strange, never seen him before around here..'
(( translate: Ah, it's alright 8DD;; google translated =w= ))
stared at him, at a loss. 'Kankokujin?' he thought. Taking in the good-natured smile which had been sent his way, he gave the man a polite
nod in return because he quickly took the bottle and dropped it into his basket. "*J-Ja*.." He gave the man another courteous inclination of
his head before he turned on his heel.
nods back again and watches him walk away. Disregarding the fact that his favourite Calpis had been taken away, he simply move forward
to the counter, where he could see that young man just in front of this large woman who's clearly disrupting his view.
heads over to the counter to pay for his goods. Shrugging the unsettling stare he been given earlier on, he thinks on the work that he has
to go through later on, mentally noting down which one to go through first. He handed the bills over to the cashier and bid him goodnight as
he left the store to make his way back to his flat.
He tilted his head left and right past the lady's head just catch a glimpse of him. Seeing him walked out of the automatic doors, he rushed
through paying the cashier and walks out to catch him...but he's already gone. "Annyyoo.." Pout.
had just gone around the corner of the street, adjusting the plastic carrier bag upon his arm when he stopped for moment and peered inside,
striking out the items in his mentally constructed shopping list when he realised that he had forgotten to pick up a carton of milk. "Ah.."
Turning on his heel, he made his way back to the store, glad that he hadn't walked too far.
collided with Kiku, as he's about to follow the other to the corner of the street, knocking his groceries off of his hands as well.
It turns out he bumped onto Kiku as well. Much to his delight.
"Ah! Ehhh, sorry sorry! Did I hurt you~?"
Ah..he's knocked into someone again tonight. What rotten luck. "Ah, Please excuse me! Allow me to help.." he reaches down to gather the
fallen shopping and he rises up with a rueful smile upon his face. Only to blink in surprise when he finds himself face to face with the
same man he had bumped into not so long ago. "Eh?" He feels himself fluster as his face heats up in embarrassment. "Oh my..I'm terrible
sorry. Please forgive me, it seems I'm rather clumsy today.." he apologised, offering a small sheepish smile.
( haha macam urang Brunei banar XD either "eh, sorry sorry!" or "eh, sorryyyyyyy" ))
(( nda eh, im singing sorry sorry from super junior =w= ))
(( babeh I'm solly but I lab joo sarang hajimaaa /shot ))
"Ah! 당신 표정 이었어!" Exclaiming happily that he looked for him, he helped the little man up. He stared at the other man flustering for some
reason. Smiling back, he picked some of the fallen groceries and extends his hand, "Im Yong Soo."
stared at him at a loss. He couldn't understand what he was saying and his gaze drops down the extended hand before him. Puzzled, he looks
up at him and he takes in the smile before he glances at the hand once more. A handshake..? "Um..yes, I'm really sorry for what happened.."
He takes the hand and shakes it anyway, thinking it the man had offered his hand to shake on an agreement of accepting their apologies.
"Nice to meet you too!" He did tried to learn a little bit of English, might as well use it. He beamed happily, knowing that there
is someone like him, an Asian, would be around. He shook his hand for a long time, and let go.
Ah, so he speaks English? That was a bit of a relief. "I'm terribly sorry about what happened earlier on," he spoke fluently. "And yes, it's
nice to meet you I suppose." He offers a friendly smile.
Tilts his head and blinks, keeping that smile in his face. ".......Okay?"
It was oddly contagious and Kiku soon found himself tilting his own head to the side as well. "Um..yes, it should be okay.." he said and he
hands the man his fallen shopping. "Here. I need to go and get some milk now."
Not knowing words to respond to the other's fluent english, except the word 'milk'. "I like milk, you like milk too!" He takes out his
three cartons proudly, "Milk want you?" He holds out one carton, offering it to Kiku as an apology for knocking him two times..,.
....and in a sudden realization that he almost attempted to stalk him.
"Eh?" he looked at the milk which the man had thrust under his nose and the bright grin on his amiable face. "Ah, no, really, that's alright
I can get my own milk.." he said as he gently pushed the milk away to prove his point.
(( Aaaish Koreabb y u so adorable xD ))
pouted, crestfallen. Did he just rejected him, after all that kind offer he gave him? Sure, he didn't understand what he just said
but the fact he pushed the milk back to him says everything. "You no like milk.....?"
Ahh, there goes his chance to make friends with a fellow asian just like him.
"No, I do like milk but I can buy it myself." Seeing the confused look on the man's face, he gesticulated towards the convenience store.
"*Konbini de miruku o katte imasu*" he tried once more to explain himself. Perhaps the man could understand some Japanese?
".......Okay?" He tilts his head once more, before he stood there alone, watching the young man walk and disappear inside the convenience
store. He ponders whether or not he should follow him, then on the floor right in front of him there's a card.
He picks it up and from the looks of it, it's a business card. Thinking that late night and in front of the store is not really the best
place to mingle (plus he's really hungry to even want to think), he decides its best to pay a visit first thing tomorrow.
May not be how those korean dramas work out, but whatever works for him. He smiles to himself, he just found himself a new friend.
When Kiku stepped out of the store, he was surprised that the korean was nowhere to be seen. He felt a little disappointed that he had left
but after checking the time, he realised that it was already late into the night and he still needed to finish up his reports and he needed
to get to the office early to make copies.. He sighed a little and made his way back to his apartment.
The next morning, after a few jogs and stretches, he ventures around. With the business card in hand and a small parcel, he looks for a
building. Hopefully the ones with big words that shows the name of the place. Maybe then he can meet with that milk man.
((sorry laptop died. on phone now ))
had fallen asleep on his papers. By the time he woke up, he was relieved that he still had about an hour before he would have to leave for
work so he took his time to get ready and make breakfast after a shower. He looked over to the overflowing amd frowned at it. Well, that
needed sorting. He gathered it up and after tying it securely, he carried out of the flat to throw it into the outside bin.
stopped by for a quicky pocky at a small store, walking out just to look to the side to see someone dumping out a trash.
Wait, isn't that? "Mirukku!" He waved as he run past an old man walking a dog to get to the milk man. He thought of how cute sounding when
that young man pronounced 'Milk'.
looked up and he was surprised to see the man from yesterday running up to him, waving in his bright tracksuit. A morning jog? "Ah.." he
gave him a courteous nod. "Good morning."
Ah, so it is him, the milk man! "Annoyong Haseyo!" He brightly cheered him good morning, looking rather radiant and cheerful despite the
tiring morning jog. "Oh, you live here da ze!"
slowly nods at this. "Yes..I see you have been jogging. Ah..was it good?" he asked a little lamely as he looked over to the sun. He needed
to go back in soon in order to get ready for work if he wanted to catch a train before peak hour.
Panting lightly from the jog and running over to the man, he simply gives a thumbs up. *Yes it is good to meet you too* "You...go work?" He
knew it was a silly question, based on the business card Kiku had dropped, but he had to know. At leeast the time Kiku have lunch break.
gives him a small smile. "*Hai*, I have to go to work very soon. I would invite you in and offer you a drink but it is unfortunate that I am
pressed for time at the moment.." he said, glancing at his watch before he gives the korean a small bow. "Please excuse me. It was nice to
meet you again. *Ja*..until next time." He turns on his heel and after seeing how the other wasn't moving from his spot, he gives him
another awkward bow before he climbed the stairs.
watches- smiling of course- Kiku walk back in his apartment and turns his heel to sprint back to his home. Maybe if he showered quick and
so, then he would catch up together with Kiku to the subway. After all, he still has his work.
After some time, he finds himself bending over, panting. He felt like he was racing against time, running quickly back to the other's
((..are you done? /is not too sure since there is no full stop. ))
house when he should be rushing to the subway. He felt a little woozy from quick shower and breakfast before quickly running back here again
he felt this was all just overexaggerating. But still, his efforts should be worth it, as he stares up to the apartment, wondering which

fastens his tie neatly in place before he downs his coffee in one go and proceeds to pull his shoes on. Right. Time for work. Snatching up
his briefcase, he locks the door behind him and descends from the stairs before he makes a brisk walk to the nearest train station to catch
a train to work. The office was about an hour away so Kiku could relax a little by listening to his Ipod. Plopping himself down into a seat,
he sighs in relief as the doors slip close and the train began to move. He checks his watch. Just on time.
just by trying to get close to him, he managed to bump into a lot of people. And then some of the men who got pissed off at this, causing
a small riot in the train. Ahh damn, this must be Kiku's stop! But alas, the young man walked out of the train - not noticing him at all due
to his ipod- as he still had his collar fisted by these...biker-looking men.
had seen the awkward scuffle that was occurring on his ride but he wisely chose to not involve himself in it. After all, he needed to clock
in early and get those papers photocopied! Setting the volume a little higher to block out the noise, he steps off the train and swiftly
disappears through the crowd to get to his workplace.
Because of that incident, he had to ride the train again to go back to where Kiku got off to much to his dismay. When he finally reached his
destination, he looked left and right, pondering on which direction is his workplace. Trusting on the business card he kept safely tucked,
he wanders around the city, hoping he can find the building where Kiku works at. Then, he sees the building with those big letters exactly
the same as the ones in the card. He rushed over to the receptionist, surprising her greatly when he placed the parcel loudly to the
counter. "Ah...jusigi balabnida (please)....gift for...milk man!" He tries to speak properly to the lady, even his hands are flailing
stupidly, trying to give out proper description of the man he had just met last night.
was making his way to the lavatories when he heard a small commotion going on at downstairs. He peered over the edge of the railings beside
a few office workers, curious what was going on. Hm? A deliveryman? A rather odd one. He asked the person beside him what happened and she
shrugged, saying that he was some korean deliveryman who no one was able to understand. Kiku blinked and he looked down once more, trying to
see the man's face but it was too faraway. "Korean huh.." he murmurs absentmindedly.
drops crestfallen, there's no way he can reach to the 'milk man' now. He pouts in sadness, much to the delight of the blushing receptionist.
After doing so, he walks around the ground floor, looking left and right. Maybe it's still not too late, he held on to the parcel.
feels a little sorry for the man. He wonders if he should help out a fellow Asian but he himself couldn't converse well in Korean. Plus it
wasn't really his business to intrude into. So Kiku decided to leave it at that. He needed to go to the lavatory after all.
