spots the young trainer and makes his way over. "What's wrong, aru?"

looks up when someone speaks. "Ah..hello..I just tried to do a gym battle."

"Which one?" His Espeon jumped off his shoulder and looked at the girl curiously.

"Pewter city gym." She says with a frown.

"Ah. Brock...He's a very tough challenger, aru!" He pointed to his Espeon. "Back when she was an Eevee, I had a very hard time beating him."

looks over at the pokemon. "What did you do then?"

for a bit. "I took a break, aru. We just wandered around for a bit, and eventually she evolved. I had no trouble then" He smiles.

nods slowly. "So I just need to practice more?" She asks looking a little hopeful.
