why are they stressed?

Aw, cats don't like moving house.

I moved and they're not taking it well. Miss Edith ran off again

all of a sudden they want to be inside constantly. at my old place they never wanted to be inside

there may be a bully cat in the new neighborhood that they are afraid of - it might be best to let them stay in if you can for awhile

so that they can acclimate to the new surroundings, I know it's difficult but it might help them.
