what is/are Pages 09?

ok this is a pain in a way as wondering id i should have waited to buy my mac in 09?

mimipal Pages is part of Apples "Office". Pages is a print layout and word processor program. The whole package is called iWork09 new rev

Not as capable as MS Office but it does everything I normally do.
