Got word last night that a former student - a real special kid - is in a coma. There is absolutely nothing that I can do about it.

that is very sad news - you can say prayers for the child & his family.

Sorry to hear that. It is always so hard when one of your students is hurt or worse.

I am so sorry to hear that. You can let the family know how much this student means to you and that you are hoping (praying) for recovery.

It is a very helpless feeling, I agree but prayers and positive attitudes really do make a difference if not for student, for the family

So sorry. Send those prayers and positive vibes. I used to teach medically fragile students that were often short for this wold. Horrible!

So sorry to hear of this. It is hard to feel so helpless. Go visit if you can and say hello. Maybe he will hear you.

Bud, go see him/her and talk to them. I have a huge story about a kid I did that for--and the pressure in their brain returned to normal.

I'm sorry. I wish I had something I could do for you and for your student and his/her family.
