What people need to understand tonight is that for the last decade there has been a dark cloud over the U.S. consciousness.
A single man oversaw a devastating blow to America, and for more than a decade he danced just outside of our grasp and laughed at us.
Today, in a single sweeping move, and unbeknownst to the rest of the world, America stood up and delivered justice to a man responsible for
the deaths of thousands. Nearly 3,000 dead and over 8,000 injured on 9/11. And that was just one of a career of terrorist activities.
America delivered justice, and tonight he is right where he belongs - facing his final judgment. True, this doesn't bring back the thousands
of lives he's responsible for taking, but tonight the families of those taken, and of everyone affected every day since then, and America as
a whole can breath a collective sigh of relief and be reassured from this day forward that NO ONE is safe from justice. You can't destroy
America's spirit, and if we are attacked, we WILL find and punish those responsible. Tonight, for the first time since that infamous morning
That cloud has been lifted.
