So you can chat on skype but not video or audio?

there is a Skype API plugin but only text

there is a plugin called beamme or something but not tried it yet supposed to give video/voice via Flash

I have asked myself the same question. But then I see that many of my friends haven't moved to Skype yet and are still chatting on MSN

Mercury works great on Mac for MSN with video

Thing about it like a unified UI for chat. Tried it but was immature. Adium is working on Video for 2.0 AFAIK.

Adium has a skype plugin but it's been crashing skype for me maybe works better for you?

Haven't tried it out yet..will check it out.

It is only for chat and Skype needs to run anyway..I will leave it as it is I guess. (Skype always running, Adium randomly)
