looks up from the table, covered in tiny wood-shavings. She slowly got up and dusted herself off, sending the shavings now to the floor. She
walked to the door and opened it, oblivious to the fact that she still had tiny slivers of wood everywhere.
stares at her. "Hei. You have stuff on you."
"Eh?" She looks down and reaches up to her hair, realizing it was still everywhere. "Oh."
starts to move to brush some off her but stops when he realizes that might be awkward. "How are you?"
frowns and moves out of the way to welcome him in. "Fine."
steps inside. "That is good."
shrugs and walks back to the kitchen to return to her work. He was practically family, so she didn't have to treat him like a guest.
follows her in and watches. "What are you making?"
blows off the large round wooden object before showing him. "A bread mould."
nods slightly. "It looks very good."
agrees. "I know." It had cute goats on it.
smiles faintly when he notices the goats. "They are very cute."
just likes goats! There is no deeper reason for it! "I know they are, that's why I put them on it."
"I'm sure the Switzerlands would agree."
flushes. "I don't care if they agree!"
raises an eyebrow. "Ja...?"
isn't going to give him a response. Why should she care if either of the Switzerland's liked a bread mould that had three cute little goats?
ignores his smile and goes back to carving it. He was being annoying.
"Which goat is your favorite?"
"This one is turning out the best." She pointed to the smallest one. She hadn't done much woodcarving in the past century, so it was nice_
nods. "That one is sweet..."
nods. "It seems very nice."
"I have no idea what you are talking about."
huffs loudly and goes back to the wood.
can't help but smile a little wider.
looks up at him with a glare. "What?" She hisses.
shakes his head. "Nothing..."
"It's just a bunch of goats." She says darkly.
nods. "I never said otherwise."
"Why did you come here?" She could hardly focus on working with his judgmental eyes boring in to her.
shrugs. "Just thought I would visit."
sets her blade down on the table and blows off the mould. She still had to finish the inscription on it. "Oh."
"Why, is there something wrong about wanting to visit my dear, sweet sister?"
stands up and ignores him. She goes to the fridge and gets a glass of milk for herself.
watches her, smiling faintly.
glares at him, jumping when the clock in the living room chimed. Damn clock.
makes a small laughing noise and turns to look over the bread mould.
"They are very nice, though..."
scoffs. "I know they are! I carved them!"
decides to ignore him and tosses her glass in to the sink.
"They look a little familiar..."
"They look like goats…" Goats all looked the same…
"Then they would *obviously* look familiar, considering you've seen goats before."
shrugs. "Every goat is different..."
knows that. "They all look the same to me."
shakes his head. "Not to me."
"And these ones look familiar."
sits back down at the table and idly scrapes the blade over the tables surface lightly enough to leave little more than thin scratches._
"I have no idea what you're talking about."
hums slightly. "Is it a gift for someone?"
scoffs. "No. I just felt like making it."
nods. "It is still very nice."
doesn't get what his point is, and thinks he is being really annoying!
glowers at the table and pushes around a pile of wood shavings.
looks up at him with a glare. "Would you just say it?"
raises an eyebrow. "Say what?"
continues glaring. "Whatever it is you're thinking."
pauses. "The weather's nice today."
huffs angrily and debates burning the bread mould now just to shut him up.
ignores him and lifts the mould up. She had spent a long time working on it… but he was really annoying her about it.
hums. "It's very sunny..."
ignores him and goes back to perfecting some of the shapes on it.
pauses before walking to her fridge and looking for something to drink.
doesn't have much in there beyond leftovers, swiss cheese, and goat's milk…
pauses when he sees the goat's milk...
trying to ignore that he is there.
"Would you mind if I grab something to eat?"
nods and pulls out the swiss cheese, taking it to the counter to cut a few slices. "Takk. I really like this kind of cheese... what is it
"How should I know? The package is in German."
"Why did you buy German cheese?"
rolls her eyes. "I didn't buy it. Basch brought it over."
nods. "That was nice of him."
shrugs again. "He knows I like dairy products?"
sees nothing wrong with him bringing her nice cheese, chocolates, milk, clocks, or any of the other random things he brought her.
doesn't think it's wrong but he is curious about it.
doesn't think it is anything for him to be curious about…
focus on her carving and pretend he does not exist.
eats a slice of cheese as he watches her.
furrows her brows in frustration. It was hard to concentrate with him watching her.
blinks in surprise. "What do you mean, 'what?'"
"Why are you staring at me?"
up working again and stands up. She grabbed a broom and started cleaning up the floor around the table.
keeps watching her as he eats.
grumbles under her breath. She really wished he would stop watching her. He was almost more annoying than Søren.
decides that she's a bit boring and watches a spot on the wall.
nods. "Pretty good... Haven't talked to her in a bit..."
nodded and continued cleaning up.
finishes up his cheese and puts the rest in the fridge.
wipes down the table and continues ignoring him.
"How should I know? It's not like I talk to him every day."
nods. "But he was here recently."
"What do you think of him?"
"Why does it matter what I think about him? You know him more than I do."
shakes his head. "Not really...."
"He's *your* Switzerland."
"So you've known him longer. You should know him more than I do." She scoffs. Though it was fairly hypocritical since she knew next to_
nothing about her Switzerland.
"Did you know Mitzi before?"
"See? Then I wouldn't know him well."
"Norway is closer geographically."
turns away and looks for something else to distract herself with.
Thora
thinks 13 years ago
he is being rude.
Thora
thinks 13 years ago
he is. He came over uninvited, took her cheese, and is now being judgmental of her!
just likes to stare sometimes.
runs a hand through her hair and sits back down.
folds her arms over her chest.
raises an eyebrow. "What?"
tries harder to ignore him.
doesn't stop trying to ignore him, though she's starting to wonder if maybe the goats on her mould looked too much like Basch's…
Lukas
thinks 13 years ago
they do.
doesn't think they look very much like them. Eiger turned out horribly, and she didn't capture Jungfrau's mischievous streak at all.
thought they were close enough.
Thora
thinks 13 years ago
that they turned out badly, so she'll deny that was what they were.
thought they looked very good.
furrows her brows together and scowls. "Is there a disease that makes your skin feel weird?"
blinks. "Yeah... there are several."
sighs. "Sunburn, poison ivy, psoriasis, dermatitis, eczema, infection, pruritis, warts, vitiligo, etc, etc..."
frowns. "Are any of those communicable?"
nods. "Why, who do you think you got it from?"
"But how do you cure it?"
shrugs. "Did you try aloe vera lotion?"
"… It's not a sunburn. I don't think that would help."
"Well what are your other symptoms."
Thora
thinks 13 years ago
about it for a few seconds with a frown. "It's weird, it only happens sometimes. My skin feels like it is crawling, my stomach gets nauseous
and my entire body feels so hot it's as though I've been dipped in to the volcano. Though it doesn't feel like my normal sicknesses."
pauses. "Does it happen more around certain people?"
shakes her head. "No, not really." She didn't have to be *around* him for it, and half of the time it seemed to come out of nowhere.
hums slightly. "Then I don't know what it is."
huffs. Some help he was… though she would try the Aloe. Maybe it would help.
wasn't going to be too helpful about this.
Thora
wishes 13 years ago
he would be.
doesn't like the idea of his little sister liking someone....
believes it enough for the both of them.
sighs. "Well, I hope you feel better soon."
nods. "Me too…" It was an annoying feeling!
nods back, slightly worried.
stares at him. She didn't think he had any reason to worry…
always had reasons to worry.
kind of has to when he's the one calm and collected one in the family.
PERFECTLY CALM AND COLLECTED, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
...is older and wiser, then.
Thora
thinks 13 years ago
he is just older, and more annoying.
Thora
thinks 13 years ago
that she could find many people to agree with her.
could probably get her counterpart, Denmark, and Søren to all agree with her!
doesn't think Soren will.
Thora
thinks 13 years ago
he would.
would make sure he wouldn't.
knows how to persuade Soren.
could blackmail him, too?
had better blackmail material...
doesn't really have very good blackmail material since most of it would involve telling Lukas things that involved her…
knows she won't against him.
Thora
thinks 13 years ago
he is being annoying now.
going to go back to ignoring him.
Lukas
wishes 13 years ago
her luck with that.
hums to herself and carves out small flowers around the trim.
looks at a few wood shavings.
listened to him humming as she works.
finds his humming to be relaxing.
glad she thinks so. He glances over at her as he hums.
relaxes slightly as she shapes out tiny star shaped flowers. She liked it when he sung(or hummed) around her.
