I freaked out in class today. While putting away the new iPad's today I thought one was missing when all the students were done.

Seems that the cart is actually deep enough to put one iPad in and shove another one in the same place. Luckily a student noticed my error
Only the 3rd time I have gotten them out so still very nervous to be responsible for 30 of them.
wow! Can only imagine that feeling- and hearbeat skip!
Just 3rd time? congrats & how fun! What are you/ your kids doing with them?
We received them on Thursday 2 weeks ago, then spring break. We are learning all of the calculator apps today.

I can't blame you. 30 is a lot to keep track of.
The first 2 days I let them have free choice on Apps I downloaded.
I added many types of whiteboards so we could figure out the best app
Math games, word games and puzzle games
Still working on the bugs to buy volume apps so waiting to get SonicPics and Toontastic
plan to use those for students to create step my step instructions to complex math problems.

how you found the funding for such a great addition to your classroom...
we received a 21st Century grant and that money is being used so we can use them iPads for some of the project-based learning activites.
I can sympathize with that feeling...I've been there!
Thanks for sharing all you're doing- great to give time to explore first- what grades/ ages?
