does like her food. But doesn't want her trapping him in her house.
only here to see these China and not for the food. Nope.
isn't going to trap Yi Ling. How would she even do that? She blinks at Daniel, frowning a bit.
come over for food, then.
she should make more rice, then.
frowns back and crosses his arms. Maybe he should go. This China was more of a woman than his own.
huffs a bit. "Yes? What do you want?"
sits down at the table, after checking that there were no traps.
why Yi Ling is so paranoid, putting a bowl of rice in front of him. "Eat up!"
"Ah pardon me. I did not mean to interrupt." Sorry Taiwan he is leaving.
frowns. "You can stay. Are you Hong Kong?"
does not trust Chunyan. 8| And he thinks Hong Kong should stay with him. "He is Hong Kong. And he should stay." He wouldn't leave him with
totally would man. He was sure Taiwan would understand such things but it seems Taiwan gave him away. "Well no really I should not interrupt
pushes Daniel towards a chair. "Stay, stay! I have plenty of food, and I'd like to talk with you."
all the things happening now have been decided for him but then again he would like some food. "Ah. Well if you insist."
eats his rice, very glad he's there. Now there would be a witness. "What else did you make?"
glances over at Yi Ling. "Dumplings and meat buns...A lot of meat buns..."
sat down cautiously looking at Chunyan ever so often. He then decides nothing is going to happen and that he should definitely eat.
nods. "Ah. Well. ...I do like meat buns."
nods back at him, heading into the kitchen and bringing out some plates of buns. "I would have mad other things..."
takes one and eats it slowly.
eating yes but he just watches the two and listens. He was gathering information on their behavior.
sits down at the table, nibbling on some rice. "How is it?"
shrugs. "It's okay." It was actually delicious.
looks up between them. "I actually found it delightful. I couldn't possibly make anything this good."
smiles at Daniel brightly. "Thank you!" She beams at the compliment, eating her rice.
finishes the first meat bun and starts on a second.
might have complimented her cooking for several reasons. One of which would be because someone did not compliment his, he did not want to be
like that guy. "I really mean it."
flushes a bit. "Thank you." She tuts a bit at Yi Ling. "You should eat more slowly.."
looks at Chunyan. "Ahh, I can take care of myself, can't I?"
something along the lines of 'haha she is blushing' but keeps a calm appearance as he eats looking between the two.
shakes her head. "Then you should know you shouldn't eat so fast!"
shrugs. "I'd rather eat quickly."
crosses her arms. "But then you eat more!"
finished that meat bun as well, and has turned his attention back to the rice. "Is that a problem?"
nods. "You'll gain weight! Do you want to gain weight?"
thinks Taiwan would actually benefit from a gain in weight. He looked flimsy to him. These two are kind of funny.
looks down, then shrugs. "Ahh, I have no reason to look good as it is." He waves a hand. "I don't mind being fat."
blinks a bit. "Eh? What do you mean? Are you depressed?!"
shakes his head. "I'm not! But I don't have a reason to be attractive anymore."
stands up, moving over to feel Yi Ling's forehead. "Are you sure?"
this is the thing Taiwan wanted to talk about with the other Hong Kong. Maybe he should excuse himself. He will slink away.
pushes her hand away. "I'm fine, I'm sure I am!"
drops her hand, frowning. "Then why do you want to be fat? Did anything happen?"
shakes his head. "I don't *want* to be fat. But I don't really care if I get fat."
crosses his arms. "Why don't you care...?"
crosses his arms stubbornly. "Because I have no one to look good for."
stares at him. "Well you won't find anyone to look good for if you don't look good in the first place!"
sighs. "The only one I wanted to think I look good doesn't like me, so I have no reason to be good looking anymore. I'm going to be a hermit
and live alone forever." Clearly, when he's sad, he becomes dramatic.
chews her bottom lip before sighing and pulling him into a hug. "Then they aren't good enough for you!"
doesn't push her away. "No, no, they were too good!"
pats his hair. "Nonsense! You're..." she mumbles the last bit, embarrassed.
looks at her. "I'm...what?"
blushes, pulling back. "You're a great guy."
turns a bit red, and rubs his cheeks. "Oh..."
nods, glancing away from him. "Yeah...So you shouldn't be depressed that some silly girl rejected you!"
leans on the table. "Well....she's not a silly girl."
shakes her head. "She's not the one for you, then."
ruffles his hair with a smile. "You'll meet someone better!"
crosses his arms. "Of course."
pats his cheek. "Trust me."
stubbornly goes back to eating.
sits back down, poking at her rice quietly.
chews slowly. "So who was it?"
stares at his food. "...Sakura...."
frowns. "I know who she is." She leans back in her chair. "Huh."
stares at her. "Huh..what?"
shrugs. "I'm not too surprised."
huffs. "What does that mean?"
smiles secretively. "Nothing."
looks a bit embarrassed at that, "Fine.."
resumes eating her rice, the wheels turning in her head.
goes back to eating as well. "Do you have tea?" He asks.
nods, standing up. "Of course I do."
stares at her. "Can I have some?"
nods again, heading into the kitchen. "Of course."
keeps eating in the meantime. He's starting to get full.
brings back the tea, setting it down in front of him.
sits back down, pouring herself some tea.
watches her for a moment.
sips her tea, raising an eyebrow. "Yes?"
keeps staring. "What do you like about me?"
shrugs. "You're a girl. What do you like about me? I want to know so I can find another girl."
stares at him. "Er, well...You're nice, I suppose..."
nods. "Yes. Nice. Is there anything wrong with being nice?"
sighs. "Well, I was expecting something better than just *nice*.
tilts her head. "What do you want me to say?"
shrugs. "I was expecting something else."
huffs, puffing out her cheeks. "Like what?"
shrugs. "Something along the lines of, 'Ahh, Yi Ling, you're so cool~' ...though, it's you. And you're rather old, so you wouldn't know cool
frowns, huffing. "Well I need time to think about what I like about you!"
huffs in return. "Is it that hard to decide?"
shrugs. "No...but...it's embarrassing!!"
leans on the table. "Why, what did you think, teacher?"
crosses her arms. "It's none of your business!"
leans back and crosses his arms. "It is. It involves me after all."
shakes her head. "I just...thought you were handsome."
rubs his cheek. "Oh...well. Thank you."
nods tensely. "You're welcome."
stares at his cup of tea.
stares at the wall. "So..."
doesn't look up. "So....."
glances at him. "What do you like about me?"
stops to think. "....You cook well."
stares at him. "Is that it?"
shrugs. "Well, you're not always a horrible old jerk."
crosses her arms. "I'm not old."
frowns. "I'm not a jerk, either."
shrugs. "Yes you are. From time to time."
sighs. "I don't do it on purpose!"
huffs. "Yeah, yeah, sure...
crosses his arms. "You do!"
doesn't want to argue with him. "I do not!"
pouts at him, gulping her tea. "Whatever."
takes a drink of his tea, pouting.
pours herself some more tea. "So where are you going to find a girl?"
about that for a while before shrugging. "I don't know."
chews her bottom lip. "A nation...?
shrugs. "That'd make the most sense...a common girl would...that'd be strange."
flinches at that, but nods. "Yeah. She'd grow old and..and die but...I'd still be like this."
nods. "So you need to find a nice nation that I approve of."
stares at her. "Why do you need to approve....? And what sort of girl would you approve of?"
lifts her head. "Don't you want my approval?"
shrugs. "If I like her then...I don't see why I need you."
puffs out her cheeks. "Because I raised you!"
waves a hand. "Fine, fine, what kind of girl would you approve of?"
rubs her chin. "She needs to be smart, and pretty...And she needs to be respectful!"
nods. "Yes, yes. Of course."
for a moment. "I can't say I'll know what kind of girl until I meet one."
rolls her eyes. "Well it's true!"
sips her tea. "You'll find a nice girl."
