Hears the door and goes to answer it, he looked out the peephole and froze, before starting to move back from the door like he wasn't home.

a basket of goodies for him. frowns at the door and knocks again.

Looks at the door nervously, he wasn't sire of he should answer or not.

"Brat? Are you in there? I made you some cookies." frowns at the door.

Opens his mouth to answer but clamps a hand over his mouth and slipping behind the wall into the living room.

huffs, reaches for the doorknob and turns it, to see if it's unlocked.

Prays that he remembered to lock the door! He started to try and edge his way toward the stairs, maybe he could lock himself in his office..

turns the lock, eyes light up when the door opens ....... "Ivan ... Oh Brat ..." walks inside and closes the door.

just barely to the top of the stairs. He tried to hide before she could see him.

walks to the stairs, looks up. "Ivan ... I brought you home made cookies. Come have tea with me."

stops and looks back down at her. "A-ah.. Privyet, Natalia." He looked at her quietly, he couldn't help but feel a bit nervous.

"I made you your favorite kind of cookies. I thought we could have tea together today." holds up the basket to show him.

Looks at the basket and nods to her. "Uh... Alright.."

motions to him with her hand. "Come down brat. I'll put the kettle on."

swallows hard and nods, beginning to step down the stairs toward her, all the while making sure his scarf was firmly around his neck.

walks toward the kitchen to start their tea. "How have you been, Brat? Looking forward to spring?"

nods to her. "Da, I cannot wait for spring. Winter is always much too long." He sat at his table.

fills the kettle and puts it on the stove to heat up. finds a plate and puts the cookies on it before setting it before him on the table. _

"I'm already planning my garden, I can't wait for warmer weather." opens cupboards looking for the tea.

nods to this. "Ah, really? I am planning to build a green house, for sunflowers." He smiled brightly at the thought.

"A green house?" finds the tea and sets it on the counter. "You will move them outside eventually, right?"

nods to her. "Da, I mean to make the green house outside, so I can grow sunflowers all year round."

"I see." puts tea in two cups, pours hot water in them and brings them to the table. "Have you tried the cookies yet?"

shakes his head. "Nyet, not yet, I was waiting for you to sit down, sestrya."

"Oh." sits down at the table.

nods to her and waits, he wondered if he should take a cookie now.

Looks at him expectantly. "I'm sitting now."

nods to her nervously and picks up a cookie taking a bite of it.

sips her tea and takes a cookie. "With a green house you can have fresh vegetables almost year round too."

nods to her. "Da, I could, couldn't I?" He munched on the cookie, it was good.
