no, it's not. c my Weekend of Beauty event & my interest in NEDA. i'm not anorexic, i don't purge. i do binge & then i have 2 make up 4 it.

i just hate the hollidays sometimes. i've gained a ton of weight since thanksgiving, and now christmas is coming, which is even more food.

i was looking in the mirror, trying on a dress, seting my hair, and i hated it. i can lose weight fast and i know how to do it

i can do that much again by christmas
i need to exercise harder, this is my problem.
i can't eat any less. stopping eating causes me to *gain* weigh actually
my metabolism slows down, and *anything* i eat goes to fat
i'm sure i can drop another 3kgs no probelme
then, i have to exercise more, to get the metabilosm up and burn more calories
and i know i have to exercise, i'm weak, i can't lift or move mch
right now, i'm stuck in "starvation" mode
You need to stop doing this Jen, i am going to be real mad at you if you don't eat anything

at home, there's just SO much
i really try not to touch it
after everyone goes to bed
and we go out to dinner or have a party almost every night
idk what to do, but not touch it

The best thing to do is to make sure you NEVER go hungry. Eat just enough to not feel the growl, then put it off

Sometimes exercise doesnt work for everyone, esp those that have more 'muscle' type of fat
i don;t hve much muscle or fat
Like my husband... when he exercises he just gains more muscle and doesnt lose ANY fat

And there are a few things you can try to stay away from when you do eat. Any sugars or breads. (Bread turns to sugar and then fat)
mmm i did bread and water for a while, and i just alwys felt hungry

I know it's all a pain really. Just starvation mode make your body fight back. I hate it

Your body needs a certain amount of calories each day to perform basic functions... so.... eat an apple.. have some fruit, the good carbs..

I had a big problem when I was in england for a few years, I gained weight so fast that I stopped even having normal periods
And years later I'm still fighting off the weight from it.
i don't sleep at night, i know this is bad too
i just need to push the weight down about 10 more kg
then i can deal with eating right
i cant even fit in my clothes right now
you know how much this makes you hate yourself

yeah, my mom was always thin, then she had to take steroids for her asthema, and gained SO much weight, she's nohing like she was
she does 1k calies a day and gains wight ;(

It's crazy to say, but 5-6 small meals will have you lose weight faster and the cravings may go
And you might crave + not sleep because your body isnt healthy.

you know, a few months ago, i was part of a movie premire
all about the portrayal of women in the media
i offered to help, i really felt strongly about it
and the director told me that he has no interest in the internet
this was during our Weekend of Beauty
and i felt he was so stupid for pasing up what we can offfer
You can do it all over again, anyway, you don't need a movie to promote good deeds, your actions speak for themselves.
it still hurt a lot, that i belived and wanted to help, and he had no interest in me
ashfordB, eating disorders are very difficult, psycological things
and tbh, this all *does* help me
please understand, all, eating disorders are *very* hard to deal with
it's not like alchol or tobacco, where you can just quit
I agree, anything that involves a mental sickness is difficult and a lot of the times good advice just doesn't do the trick, some sicknesses
you need to eat every day
take ages to cure and even then, some will never be fully cured. It takes time and patience.

not recommend to someone who has an ED or not yet recovered from one, but may offer a bit of hope to you. It is to put as much nutrition
as you can into whatever you put into your mouth while eating only food of a sensible caloric content.Forget calorie minimums or set numbers
as your body will require different amounts from other people and even on different days. Listen to your body's cravings and get used to
Jen please be very careful, we worry and care about you a lot! You need sustenance or your body can't function and will start eating muscle
eating healthily. Once you wean yourself off processed sugars, grease, etc...chips, unhealthy foods you won't miss it.
