seeing if she could maybe get a guy to cheer her up... or at least a few spirits.
lurking at a bar, looking for perhaps a good woman or a good man to take home tonight... or even to help someone. He was just very bored.
easily spots the other man and, after looking, a bit decided that she might go for him right now. She takes the seat right next to him_
before ordering a mint spirit. She looks at the man and smiles as her trademark greeting.
had noticed her when she walked in. There was something... different about her. Like the other nations. Once she smiled at him he turned to_
give her a smile back. "Bonjour, mademoiselle. What brings you to a place like this?"
“A good drink. Maybe some fun.” Not exactly the entire reason, but she doesn't feel like saying anything about her life right now.
figured that her response would be something along those it; he'd said it more to break the ice than anything else. "As good of reasons as
sips a bit of the drink that is now in her hand. “I do think so as well. And you? Any other plans than having a nice drink?”
takes a small sip of his wine. "My reasons are the same as yours."
smirks a bit. "So, you are looking for some fun too? Not very easy to get when you just sit around. However, I suppose someone has handsome_
as you would just attract others.”
chuckles. "I often find that is the case, though I'm surprised that nobody went for you as you walked in."
giggles. "I don't like to make a big entrance. It's nicer to find someone before someone finds me."
nods. "I can see the advantage in that. There are some rather... sketchy people after all."
nods. “Yes, I have much more luck with searching on my own.”
"Of course; a woman has standards after all. It is also safer, I think, to search on your own."
“Well, it seems this place is safe. Do you think that I have found a bit of luck as well?"
grins, sipping at his wine. "Perhaps you have. Only time will tell, oui?"
carefully traces the rim of her glass with her finger. "Jah. I'll just hope for the best then."
raises a brow, taking another sip while looking at her. "If you choose right, you may not have to hope."
"Hope is sometimes all I have." And she wasn't speaking about finding guys. "I suppose, however, I may not have to this time." This man did_
seem to be a very good choice.
"Hope is a good thing to have, even when you don't need it." This was something he came to believe from experience. "Oh? You may not have to
nods in agreement. "You do seem very nice and charming. If not also handsome." Yes, she's blunt... and not at the same time.
"And you, if you don't mind me saying, seem very nice as well, with beauty and a good head on you."
definitely now likes this man. "Why, thank you." She takes another sip of the spirit in front of her thanking anything for giving her_
someone nice after a few off days.
took a sip of wine. "If you would like, I could pay for your drink. I don't mind.~"
raises an eyebrow. "If you would like to." She wouldn't refuse anyways unless if it was with friends.
"Consider it a token of my thanks for the conversation." It was nice just to be able to talk to someone sometimes.
would agree with that. "Well then." She kisses him on the cheek. "Thank you for the conversation as well... and the drink."
grins, gently rubbing where she kissed. "Careful, you might make me blush mademoiselle. ...! How rude of me, I forgot to introduce myself._
My name is Francis Bonnefoy."
somewhat surprised yet not that this was Marianne's counterpart. "It's alright I forgot to as well. I'm Evelin von Bock."
not surprised at all that she is Eduard's counterpart. "Would be presumptuous of me to assume that you were Estonia?"
"Not at all, and you are France, correct?"
nods. "That is correct, mademoiselle."
smiles a bit. "Well, it is a pleasure to met you then."
takes her free hand and kisses the back of it. "The pleasure is all mine."
"Would you care to go somewhere with a more... private, atmosphere?"
"What did you have in mind?"
"Perhaps my house. Or yours, if it would make you more comfortable."
"I would not mind going to your house."
takes out some bills to pay for their drinks and holds his hand out. "Shall we go then?"
takes his hand gently, "As long as you show me the way."
chuckles and twines his fingers with hers. "But of course."
giggles and smiles at him as they head out of the bar.
leads her out of the bar and towards his place, all throughout the trip subtly flirting with her and even kissing her cheek once.
does much the same but giggles as the other flirts and is able to forget of the things that have bothered her lately.
takes out his key as the approach the front door. "Here we are..." He unlocked the door and opened it, allowing her to go in first.
thanks him and walks in. She looks around before taking off her jacket. It's rather nice inside comparatively.
had left for the bar without changing, so with the black coat off, she was wearing her traditional attire composed of a white,_
long-sleeved button up shirt with a sweater vest over it and a red ribbon around the collar and a tan skirt that went to her knees. Like_
this, no one could ever second guess whose counterpart she was.
saw her outfit as she took her coat off; it was truly as if a female version of Estonia were standing in his foyer. He took her coat and_
went to a closet, hanging it beside a few others coats. "If you would like, I have some spirits here as well."
smiles. “You do? That would be lovely.”
grins and leads her to the kitchen, opening a high up cabinet and pulling out a few bottles that he thinks she'll like. "Here we go, please,
have as much as you would like."
happy to get more spirits. It was her favorite type of drink after all. "Thank you."
( o A o Sorry. ) "Are you good with just those, or would you like something to mix with them?"
(It's alright~) "I don't usually like mized drinks myself unless they are mixed with fruits. Why mix with something that's wonderful?"
